Ruff & Tumble Dog Salon

I drive all the way from New Britain to South Windsor for the Ruff and Tumble experience and it’s 100% worth every mile. I first heard about them on Channel 3 and knew I had to try it. It took several months to get my first appointment because they’re so in demand, but I completely understand why now. My dog Lola has been coming here for about three years, and every single visit is a five-star experience. The moment you walk in, it feels like a proper dog spa, not a kennel. No weird smells, no chaotic energy, just a calm, clean, welcoming space. It’s such a relief after visiting other groomers that just didn’t compare. Lola is a total showgirl, and she deserves nothing but the best. I swear she knows it’s spa day the second we pull up, she struts in like she owns the place! The team here goes above and beyond every time to make it feel luxurious, not just a quick trim. If you want a groomer who treats your dog like royalty and runs a spotless, spa-like salon, Ruff and Tumble is worth the drive. Thank you for always taking such good care of my girl!

Absolutely love bringing my boys to Ruff & Tumble for their grooming experience! The staff goes above and beyond for their dogs to make it a less nerve wrecking experience for them. My dogs always come back looking amazing! We have been working with Megan for years now and don’t plan to ever look back. I recommend to anyone looking for a groomers! They also have a location in South Windsor as well that we went to until they opened up their Glastonbury location.

I love this place. Even if I didn't have my own dog to bring there, I love that the dogs get to hang out while waiting for the cut or bath. The building is beautiful as well. We got our wheaten terrier at 16 weeks old- he was a hot mess and needed some grooming (or so everyone kept telling me online but I had never owned a dog before and didn't know the first thing about grooming a dog (besides a hose bath maybe!), especially a wheaten puppy ! Anyway, we called and made an appointment . The staff informed me about the first visit expectations/ experience, getting Rocco to adjust and acclimate. He did great on his first visit and it was suggested that we bring him back for regular visits to get him used to the groomer and being groomed. They told me about brushing him and the tools of need and what I need to do in order to keep Rocco looking and feeling (and smelling) his best. Fast forward to present day and he LOVES going to Ruff n' tumble to see his best friend Macie (who grooms him!), she's very sweet to him. Macie is great and listens to what I'd like to see for Rocco , as far as his style. She is receptive to feedback and always does a beautiful job. Rocco is very happy after

I know im sure im not the only fur momma when I say Im very picky of who takes care of my fur babies. I've been trusting my fur baby, Schnitzel for over a year! Meghan has taken care of Schnitzel & Always cleans my crazy, hard playing Aussie back into a Gentleman again. When Meghan was on maternity the ladies there still loved him as there own. Now I have another baby to bring and I trust no one else, I mean No other group of lovely dog lovers ever daisy will also be going. I trust these ladies ! If you need your fur baby well loved, not stuck in a crate while blow drying, not stuck in a crate because they don't have the time,. If your baby is safe walking freely around then they do! Schnitzel is so happy when he gets home ! My little gentleman! Pictures below is " how it started " vs how schnitzel came home after Ruff & Tumble!!!
