Rob's Dogs (DOG TRAINING)

I don’t have enough good things to say about Rob’s Dogs. From the first inquiry, to the behavioral assessment (thanks to Ian for being so reassuring!) all the way to boarding and training. Every employee has been helpful, kind, and patient. We elected for a 10 day board and train. Theo had some of the basics down but ultimately lacked confidence to do brave things and be obedient at the same time. When it came to our go home visit, I’ll admit I was nervous. But once Nathan brought Theo into see us that anxiety quickly dissipated. I know it took a team to work with Theo but the bond that Nathan built with him was obvious. He also did a thorough job of explaining what Theo had learned and ensured that we were comfortable and confident with all the new commands and Theo’s new equipment. Please keep in mind that this is an investment, it is not a bargain choice and I understand that might not fit everyone’s budget and that’s okay. But I promise it will be beyond worth it. And the work you put in at home afterwards should be a priority. This was a great starting point to develop and fine tune Theo’s training even further. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT ROB’S DOGS!!

We had such a great experience with Rob’s Dogs Pet Resort! We did a combination of boarding and training for our two doodles, and the improvement in their leash manners has been incredible. They came home walking so much better, with significantly less pulling and reacting to other dogs. We’re genuinely excited to take them on walks now! Sophie and Bree were wonderful to work with and clearly put a lot of time and care into our pups. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were being well cared for while also getting great training. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend Rob’s Dogs to anyone looking for boarding and training. Thank you Sophie and Bree!

Rob’s Dogs did an amazing job taking care of and training my 14-month-old dog, Drago, for a little over two weeks. I opted for the on-leash training program, and the difference has been night and day. Drago was extremely energetic before, and now I feel much more confident helping him stay calm and focused. They sent me periodic updates while he was there, which I really appreciated. The facility is also incredibly nice, clean, and has a very upscale feel. It honestly feels like a luxury hotel for dogs. When I picked Drago up, Nathan was extremely helpful with the go-home instructions. He was so thorough going over everything that I did not even have any questions by the end. He was also super nice and easy to talk to. Rob and the rest of the staff were friendly as well, and you can tell they really care about the dogs. Overall, I had a great experience with Rob’s Dogs and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality board and train program.

My wife and I have three German Shepherds, so finding a boarding facility we can truly trust when we travel is incredibly important. Rob’s Dogs Pet Resort came highly recommended, and after our experience, I can honestly say it was worth every penny. We were gone for 10 days, and throughout our trip they sent us pictures and updates. Our dogs looked genuinely happy, relaxed, and well cared for, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. When I picked up our two boys today, they were healthy, happy, and obviously had received outstanding care. That’s exactly what every dog owner hopes for. Living in North Scottsdale, it’s not uncommon to pay premium prices without getting premium value. Rob’s Dogs Pet Resort is the exact opposite—they provide exceptional care, outstanding communication, and incredible value. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a place that will treat their dogs like family. Five stars all the way!

Long review but worth reading if you are thinking about the 1 week boarding & training. Bottom line upfront- Best decision we ever made! Our 3 1/2 year old rescue Staffordshire, black lab, australian cattle mix was barking, reactive to other dogs and wouldn’t always listen to us. She is a very loving, eager to please dog, but we knew she needed additional training to learn how to socialize with other dogs, learn commands and control her excitement in public to be able to take her anywhere we went. After one week of the boarding training program, working primarily with Dani and Samuel as well + 4 hybrid lessons with Dani (private one on ones) she is a BRAND NEW DOG! Full of love, always eager to please, listens to us and she’s SO happy we take her ANYWHERE we go! She loves going to OHSO, farmers markets, Home Depot, REI and anywhere someone will let her in! :) She’s great around strangers and other dogs, making people jealous of how wonderful she listens when she walks by - WIN! During the week she was there (fully staffed 24 hours a day), we received video updates to ease how much we missed her and showing us her progress. We could text anytime to check on her - now we call it
