RELEASH NYC

It’s called butler now, same workers but now they bought the place! So glad because they are the best thing to happen to our fluffy dog. Thoughtful and patient, our dog hated grooming but now looks forward to it. I hope Google updates the name soon.

I took my dog here for a bath, and while the woman at the front of the store was very helpful and the bath itself was very good, what happened afterward was completely unacceptable. When I came to pick up my dog, I saw the groomer finishing the cut - and he hit my dog on the head when my dog pulled back from him. When he realized I had seen what happened, he told the woman at the front that my dog had "jerked his body," which was both untrue and insulting since I witnessed the incident directly. When I challenged that explanation, the groomer admitted that he did hit my dog, claiming it was because my dog was going to bite him. My dog has never bitten a groomer before, and even if he had, the proper response would have been to use a muzzle - not to strike him. The owner later called to apologize and handled the situation professionally, but the groomer's behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I can't help but worry how often this has happened when no one was there to see it.

Releash has the best dog grooming services on the upper west side! We’ve tried SO many dog spas but nobody could ever get the right cut and length for our doodle (we love the fresh puppy cut look), and Releash always gets it perfect. My dog also comes back super happy every time, so I know they handle their pups with a ton of care during the grooming process. I’m so glad to have found them!

I’ve been taking my pup Mochi here for a few months now and we both love Releash. The staff are so sweet and patient. My pup tends to roll around in the grass and dirt a lot. She tends to get super matted sometimes. They always call to make sure I’m ok with something before they proceed if the haircut doesn’t go as planned. But she always looks so adorable even if they have to go shorter than what we’ve discussed. Her coat looks amazing and smells beautiful when I pick her up. Overall always a pleasant experience and Mochi really loves them. Sometimes she doesn’t want to leave 😂♥️

They are the nicest, the best dog groomer and daycare provider I've found in this city. I have seen how much they care for the dogs and when i leave my little maltese with them I don't worry one bit because I know he is in such good hands. They are truly dog lovers. The groomer does a beautiful job on him and treats him with great care. My little guy even comes back energized from grooming. He loves being there too: when I take him there he wants to go in to the daycare area, and is totally okay with leaving me which is unusual but warms my heart! They also have a wonderful selection of dog accessories and carriers, and high quality foods, too. I am so glad they are in my neighborhood and grateful to have found them.
