Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I called twice before coming in. During the first call, I asked the owner, Raymond, if anyone was familiar with cutting dreads, and he explicitly told me, 'I'll cut it myself if I have to.' When I called back yesterday to let him know I was on my way, he answered again, so he knew exactly who I was and what I was coming in for. When I arrived, a student barber named Buck was finishing up a client, and another customer went to a different student. While Buck was finishing, we talked and he seemed eager to cut my hair, but as soon as he finished his client, he disappeared to the other side of the shop for 30 to 60 minutes while I was left sitting there with zero communication. Out of nowhere, Raymond finally walked up with another student and snipped three of my dreads without asking or giving any warning—taking away a moment I should have had control over. The student with Raymond was polite and finished cutting off the dreads and shampooing my hair. But after just 5 minutes under the dryer, Buck came back, rushed me out, and made a comment about how he’s usually gone by that time. Buck did the actual fade/cut, and once the t

It was ok different than what I had in mind. Asked for a simple bob cut and a lining. Cut was good shoter than I would like. I asked is he going to style it the response was you didn't pay for style just to cut.Whatbyoi should have said was * I'll be glad to style it for you it will cost a little more since you only asked for it to be cut.* May go again¿

Extremely upset about the whole visit. I have been a licensed stylist for 10years and attended the school while on vacation. I paid for a quick weave removal ,shampoo ,blow dry flatiron (prior to receiving my service) . I sat in the chair and was basically reprimanded about how my install was done ( which was total bs) I had glue protector on my hair which only needed to rinsed out to remove the braids (a traditional quick weave base nothing fancy). Then was shampooed by two student. How two people shampoo one head I’m unsure but it took place. Then conditioner was applied and my hair was detangled. ( while detangling another student brought over another shampoo and that was when applied with the conditioner. Weird but let’s continue . I then was rinsed and taken back to the salon floor where the student ripped through my hair with denman brush and blow dried my hair with no defuser. The whole time multiple instructors were present and watched as this young lady played in my hair . One lady came over and offered to put oil on my hair I said no please don’t them the owner fussed about how it wasn’t oil but heat protector. I was shown the bottle and I was familiar with the product s
