About Puppy Love
Puppy Love is a full service pet grooming shop open 7 days a week in North Arlington, TX. We have 9 loving groomers who have several decades of professional training and are knowledgeable in breed specific care and cuts.
Puppy Love is one of the pet groomers listed in Arlington, Texas. The business is registered at 837 NE Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Arlington is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Arlington peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came here at 3:40 p.m. on a Wednesday just to ask about services and schedule. Their posted hours say they’re open until 5:00 p.m., but when we arrived the front door was locked. An employee came to the door and told us they were closed, even though the illuminated “Open” sign was still on, and there was no explanation or attempt to help us. If the business closes early or stops accepting customers before the posted closing time, that should be clearly communicated. Very disappointing experience.

They did exactly what I was wanting! It was hard to find a groomer that didn’t chop my babies hair. Highly recommend. Staff was super friendly too

I brought my dog in just for a simple brushing, since I had already bathed and de-shedded him at home. I work right next door and, despite only having an “okay” experience in the past (including previous minor cuts around his paws), I decided to give this place another try. I was also under the impression that a staff member I knew would be taking care of him, which gave me some reassurance. Unfortunately, the outcome was extremely disappointing and upsetting. When I picked up my dog, his body was visibly red and irritated. Large areas on his back and sides had been over-brushed to the point where his inner coat was completely gone and his skin was clearly visible. Meanwhile, other parts of his body looked untouched. His coat is now uneven and patchy, with completely different densities throughout—he doesn’t even look like the same dog. I immediately took him to the vet, and I was told that it could take anywhere from 6–12 months for his coat to recover—if it recovers fully at all. There’s even a possibility that his inner coat may never grow back the same, or could grow back in a different texture or color. What’s even more frustrating is that no one at the shop informed me ab

The first two photos is when I pick up my Ozzy from the groomers today. The last three are pics of how I have picked him up before.. See the difference…. I have been bringing my fur babies here for the last four years. Never have I had any problems until the last few visits that I have brought him. When I pick him up it looks like he has razor burn and bloody red irrated areas where they were rushing or cutting to close to his skin. He is 14 years old and is a very mellow, sweet dog. So that is why I’m so upset. He isn’t hyper, doesn’t move a lot, so why does he look like this. The first time they apologized and said the groomer who groomed him was no longer there. So I gave them another chance. But today as soon as they handed him to me I was upset. They called me two hours after I dropped him off and said he was ready but my other dog wasn’t but by the time I get there she should be done too. Usually it takes about 3 hours or more when they call me to pick them up. Ozzy had way more hair and it should have taken longer to groom him than my other dog Blanca. Blanca looked great! So I asked if they had different groomers, they said yes. I asked to speak to the owner and I was infor

I had to change my previous review. I have been coming here for about 4 years now. Even though I moved to Dallas a year ago I kept driving to Arlington for grooming. Recently my dog got the worst cut ever. They shaved her coat off and part of her tail leaving some hair at the tip of her tail. She is an Australian Shepherd! Not a poodle! Any groomer knows that Aussies can’t be shave down. They tend to have extremely sensitive skin than other dogs and since she’s a merle if her coat is shaved when it grows the pattern may even change! I can’t believe they shaved her down. Very upset about this and will not be returning. Here are pictures of how they shaved her and the last picture is how she looked before. If your dog has long hair I do not recommend being it here or if you’re very particular on how you want your dog hair trimmed. If your dog has short hair and doesn’t necessarily need a trim then it should be ok here. If this is your last resource and you have to come here I would advise on being very specific with them and maybe even tell them to cut a little longer than what you would prefer just in case. Besides the groomers not doing a good job. The girls at the front are really
