About Pup Pup and Away

Pup Pup and Away is a pet groomer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 2215 Ardmore Blvd #4, Pittsburgh, PA 15221, which places it among the local businesses of Pittsburgh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (412) 271-6222. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 59 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Pittsburgh and suggests consistent service.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Alicia is the absolute best. We have three dogs and one of them has a phobia of the groomer. Alicia has all the patience in the world with him and gives him and our other two absolutely perfect cuts every single time! If you’re looking for a dog groomer I recommend Pup Pup & Away wholeheartedly. Thanks for everything Alicia.

Absolutely not! I usually take my baby to my groomer in Washington and we love them, but I decided to try one closer to me… From the moment I walked in I should’ve turned around. The place was dark and her energy was very unwelcoming. She threw the neck restraint around my dog’s neck and tied it way too tight. My dog got scared, growled, and backed into her stroller. Instead of handling it with care, she immediately told me to sedate my dog… like what?? I said absolutely not. She then tells me that she might call me to come pick her up in a few minutes. I said don’t even worry about it I’m taking my money elsewhere! The way she was acting towards me, it definitely came off like she was being racist! I’m not leaving my dog with someone like that!

I had an amazing experience with Bonnie & her crew. She did an outstanding job grooming my poodle, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The cut was exactly what I asked for, and my dog looked absolutely adorable. Bonnie was so gentle and patient, making sure my dog was comfortable throughout the entire process. The salon was clean, organized, and had a very friendly atmosphere. I could tell she really cares about the pets and people she works with. I highly recommend Bonnie & her staff to anyone looking for regular grooming services.
