About Premium Pet Supply
Located at 1500 E Empire St, Bloomington, IL 61701, Premium Pet Supply operates as a pet store serving Bloomington in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pet stores sell the food, treats, toys, beds, crates, leashes and grooming tools that keep a coat in good shape between appointments: slicker brushes, combs, de-shedding tools, nail clippers, shampoos and conditioners. Independent pet shops often carry raw and freeze-dried food and local brands, and many run a grooming salon or a self-service wash in the back; dog bakeries sell fresh treats and birthday cakes; aquarium and exotic pet stores serve fish, birds and reptiles; and feed stores sell bulk food, bedding and supplies for farm animals and horses.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Premium Pet Supply at (309) 662-2153; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is facebook.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 400 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet stores in Bloomington.
Bloomington is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bloomington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Have been coming here on and off for their fish & aquarium selection- they have great driftwood but as far as fish and plants go, I stopped by today and majority of tanks had Ich and Planaria (at least in the shrimp tank) and toooons of pest snails. Plants were half dead and all tanks had algae like they dont take care of their tanks very well. They used to look decent a few years ago but have gone downhill. I definitely would not buy from here again (all my fish and plants died within a week any time i bought from here). I have a lot better luck with Petco’s well maintained tanks! Dog and cat items are heavily over priced.

Only place that sells food for my dog that he can tolerate, they have all the exotic stuff that you can't find for your animal whether it's a chew toy or food or a type of fish, always a friendly face and conversation as well as helping if I need assistance. And their pricing is very fair in my opinion. Also lots of variety of animal toys and food and accessories. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful place! We come here to get all things aquatic: fish, tanks, filters, food, lights... They have it all. Monte (in the fish cave) is super knowledgeable and cares about his customers. They ask questions to help you find the right fit for you. In addition to the best fish selection we've found in central Illinois (and honestly, anywhere in Illinois to date), they also have tons of adorable things for furry friends and reptiles too. They have bakery items, unique toys and treats, and your standard and specialty foods as well. I can't recommend it enough.
