In Amarillo, daycares and kennels usually ask for proof of rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccinations and a short temperament test before the first stay. Across Texas, holiday weekends and summer book out weeks ahead, so reserve early and ask about pickup windows, which can be shorter on Sundays. Pet sitters and walkers should be insured and bonded; ask for references and a meet-and-greet first. Check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Amarillo is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Amarillo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

So rude at this place. The manager is so rude yelling at me on the phone . They over charged me and they treat dogs bad there .

Exceptionally helpful and kind staff. I had to leave the country for over a month for a family emergency and they went above and beyond to help me with boarding. My dog is a handful but they do well with him. 10/10 recommend

Spent $800 boarding our dogs just to pick them up in the afternoon and our male dog had a fresh abrasion on his nose. We were told it was “probably” from the fence. They noticed it that morning but did not call us “because it didn’t seem to be bothering him”. It looks like another dog bit him. Will never bring our dogs back.

We were recommended to this business by our friend. They offer grooming and boarding services. We absolutely love this business they are very kind and caring of my Goldendoodle. The grooming is always spot on and prices are not ridiculous! Rates for boarding are very reasonable as well and my dog has access to go in and out. They can provide blankets and food for your dog but we always bring our own.
