About Prairie Paws Grooming

Hi, I'm Bridgette(dog person, wife & mom). I spent years grooming professionally in busy salons, where I learned my craft on every kind of coat, temperament, and tangle imaginable. I also learned what I didn't love: watching sweet, nervous dogs spend their day in a loud room full of cages, waiting for their fifteen minutes on the table.

When I became a stay-at-home mom, I built the salon I always wished existed: one quiet room, one groomer, one dog at a time. Now every appointment gets the unhurried, gentle, detail-obsessed groom I'd want for my own dogs. My promise is simple: your dog will be treated like family, handled with patience, and returned to you clean, comfortable, and wagging.

Took both of our dogs in and Bridgette did a wonderful job! Our 4 year old dog has never liked getting groomed and is anxious. Bridgette took her time with her and made her feel comfortable and not rushed. Both of our dogs look and smell great. Nails are neatly trimmed, which is also tough for our 4 year old dog who freaks out, but Bridgette did a great job. Love that she let's the dogs lead the session and follows what they need in order to feel calm and comfortable. Will be back and making her our permanent groomer.

When I picked Arc up from his appointment, I could tell that he fully enjoyed it. Bridgette did an amazing job, and the one on one is great. I will not take him anywhere else.

Had such a great experience with Prairie Paws Grooming! She did a deshed, cleaned her ears, trimmed her nails and even painted them pink! 💕🐾 My girl was NOT a fan of the dryer, but she was so patient with her and took her time instead of rushing or forcing her through it. I really appreciated how comfortable and cared for she made her feel. She came home looking and feeling great! We’ll definitely be back! By the way, have to mention, she smells amazing! Bridgette let us pick which shampoo she could use. There were a lot of options but we went with oatmeal honey and I’m a big fan! Happy 9th birthday to my sweet baby Yuno, she looks beautiful 💖🥹
