In Tulsa, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Oklahoma, and how long your pet will stay. Tulsa is in Oklahoma, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Tulsa peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Our dogs, all 3, love staying at Pooches. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and help make sure all is ready for a smooth transition in and out. Our dogs come home happy and in great shape. We have one dog who would get the nervous squirts when boarding, but we have never had that happen at Pooches. Happy dogs, Happy dog mom & dad!!! The only place we take our dogs!

My dog Nova was boarded there for 5 days and the staff was absolutely amazing with her. Their add on options really helps ease any fur mama’s heart. My favorite was the wag report! I recommend this place for everybody!! Nova will definitely be joining her fur friends for their daycare option on the weekends!

We were really excited to drop our dog off for her first day today, but when we walked into the lobby we were hit with an unbelievable urine stench. It was so awful we stopped in the middle of filling out the paperwork and went back outside. We asked if we could see the facilities but were told no, so we just left. EDIT: Thank you for your response, but that is not what happened. We were there around 1:00pm, and were told that if we can come back after 3:00pm we might be able to take a tour. There was certainly no offer to tour in 30 minutes. That simply did not happen.

We absolutely love Pooches and can’t recommend them enough. Our older dog has been going there for four years and has always loved it, so we already trusted them—but we were a little nervous bringing in our newly adopted dog, Cordi, from the Tulsa Animal Shelter. She is extremely afraid of leashes to the point that she just freezes and falls over, so we actually had to carry her inside on her first visit. The team at Pooches didn’t hesitate for a second. They were incredibly patient, kind, and willing to take on the challenge. They even carried Cordi back to her room and made sure she felt safe and comfortable. A special thank you to Marcus, who went above and beyond working with Cordi during her stay. After just 24 hours, we picked her up—and to our amazement, she walked out on a leash. We are beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and love they show our dogs. Pooches truly treats your pets like family, and it means the world to us.
