In Raleigh, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in North Carolina, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely fantastic all around! Maisie got a total makeover today and we are thrilled. She was a hot mess express prior to her visit & the groomers have her looking like a prize show dog! I spoke with the owner over the phone last night (after hours!) and was able to get Maisie worked in the next morning. Additionally, I voiced some concerns and felt totally heard/validated/understood. Excellent customer service! Also love this sweet little photo op! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I absolutely love bringing my two Pomeranians here for grooming. Of course grooming dogs is their job, but what truly sets this place apart is the genuine love and passion they have for animals, especially the owner, Kiervi. She has such a big heart for dogs and is constantly giving back through volunteering, and encouraging people to donate items for dogs instead of throwing them away. Her kindness and generosity really shine through. Most importantly, the care and affection she shows my pups means everything to me. Seeing her give my little Chloe a kiss on the way out always makes my heart smile. You can tell these dogs are treated with real love, not just as appointments on a schedule. And beyond all of that, they are hands-down the best grooming team I’ve ever come across. My dogs always look amazing, and I leave knowing they were cared for like family. I can’t recommend them enough!

I have been bringing my doors for over 11 years and will not go anywhere else . My first visit was with my dog Oreo who was a shitzu/poodle mix they were very patient with him since he never liked being groomed . Then my morkie louie 9years old now started coming at just 12 weeks old . Louie just had his griming visit yesterday 3/28/26 smelling so good and looking so handsome after being in the mud. Each staff member always do a great job and the communication is great which allows be to go about my business for the day .

It’s always stressful finding a groomer when you’ve just relocated, but Planet Poochie was recommended to me and I’m so glad I gave them a try. My girl has not looked this good since we left GA in 2023!
