Colleen and her staff are great. Supportive and understanding with a dog mom that had a very hard time with drop off. Picked him up happy and healthy. Came home smelling clean. Thank you 🙏

I took my golden retriever for his grooming appointment today and was told he would be ready between 1 and 2 PM. They mentioned they had some special-needs pets scheduled that day, which I completely understand can require extra time and attention. However, I was still reassured that Gus would be finished within that timeframe. When I called at 1:30 PM for an update, I was suddenly told the groomer said it would actually be between 3:30 and 4 PM. The inconsistent communication felt dishonest and more like an excuse after the fact rather than an honest update. If appointments are delayed because certain pets require additional care due to anxiety or behavioral needs, then scheduling should realistically reflect that. Each pet’s appointment time should be based on the level of care and attention they require, rather than overbooking and leaving other dogs sitting in kennels for hours. This is a simple concept, yet it feels like the focus is on maximizing bookings and revenue rather than prioritizing the safety, comfort, and well-being of the animals in their care. What upset me even more was hearing that my dog had apparently been barking nonstop and thrashing around in the kennel

I have been bringing my Maltese Skye to Plainfield Per Resort for a few months. The level of professionalism and outstanding grooming service has been consistent. The groomers really love and care about the animals. I feel confident at every drop off that Skye is in good hands. She’s returned to me happy, clean and smells so good.

Please do not take your pets in for grooming here. I requested a grooming for my cat that I had explained was matted and was given a price for full service with bath and nail trim etc. I dropped her off and about 40 mins later they call me to pick her up because they're unable to finish the job. When I was picking her up they charged me for the full service price even though the shave was not complete, the bath did not happen and the ear cleaning did not happen. I asked why I was getting charged full price and the response I received was that they don't separate/ itemize services. I was charged for everything even though none of the services were completed. I think customers need to be communicated that this is how you charge regardless if services are completed. The groomer also kept saying due to damage to the blade and they completed 80 percent. I tried to understand, but found it unacceptable. I got home and my cat was NOT 80 percent done, in fact she had left over pieces just hanging off her coat, patches where there were no mats still on her. It was a completely unprofessional job. She was uncomfortable all night and it was heartbreaking. Deeply disappointed, the groomer g
