About Pit Stop for Pets
Pit Stop for Pets has been Alpharetta's trusted dog groomer for over 14 years — and we've never been just a wash-and-go stop.
Every Coat Health Treatment is a professional dog grooming visit with a health check built in: coat, skin, ears, and body condition assessed by our team. We notice what changes between visits — and tell you when something needs a vet's attention.
Also available: self-wash dog wash stations, raw and frozen food, supplements, and enrichment tools.
Proudly serving Alpharetta, Milton, and Roswell.
Located at 12315 Crabapple Rd Ste 154, Alpharetta, GA 30004, Pit Stop for Pets operates as a pet groomer serving Alpharetta in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under pet supply store, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Lia was absolutely fantastic with both of my dogs. I adopted Jasper from a shelter yesterday, and needless to say, he came home smelling pretty bad. I brought him to Lia at 11:30 AM, and she did such an amazing job that I ended up bringing my other dog, Zeus, in shortly afterward. Zeus absolutely refuses to let anyone touch his nails, not even me. We have to sedate him at the vet just to get them trimmed, which I hate doing. I told Lia to not even bother trying, but somehow she was able to trim them. I was beyond impressed and thankful. She really knows how to make dogs comfortable. Also, the bandanas they send the dogs home with are a really nice touch. I’ll definitely be back soon!

MaryAnn has been grooming our Aussiedoodle, Coco, for over six months, and we couldn't be happier. She has truly become an extension of our family. Her kind, loving spirit shines through in the way she cares for Coco, and it's clear she genuinely loves what she does. MaryAnn is an exceptional groomer who pays close attention to every detail. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure Coco looks amazing and that we're completely happy with the results. We always leave knowing Coco was cared for with love and professionalism. We highly recommend MaryAnn to anyone looking for a talented and compassionate groomer!

Went on a hike and ended up with 2 very dirty dogs! Pit Stop for Pets takes walk ins and I was able to get started right away! They are stocked up!!! Hypoallergenic shampoo option, blueberry face wash, conditioner, brushes AND ear cleaning supplies?! These dogs got the works! Towels and a blow dryer, the dogs were dry and ready to get in the car for our next adventure. They had lots to choose from for an after bath treat! Happy hour from 3-5?! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
