About Pioneer Pet Services

Located at 802 19th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103, Pioneer Pet Services operates as a pet sitter serving Fargo in North Dakota. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Fargo, daycares and kennels usually ask for proof of rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccinations and a short temperament test before the first stay. Across North Dakota, holiday weekends and summer book out weeks ahead, so reserve early and ask about pickup windows, which can be shorter on Sundays. Pet sitters and walkers should be insured and bonded; ask for references and a meet-and-greet first. Check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Fargo is in North Dakota, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Fargo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Dakota's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Chad has been watching our dogs while we were on vacation or getaway trips for 10 years. He is so good with the dogs. Chad goes way beyond the standard service of dog care! Best ever. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Chad. He is professional, reliable, and communicates thoroughly about each visit. We were especially impressed by the time he took during our initial meeting to get to know us and learn about our cat. He gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was in such capable hands while we were away. We have a “spicy” cat who takes time to warm up to strangers, and Chad was patient, understanding, and willing to care for him.

I have used Pioneer Pet Services multiple times before and I hope to use this service again. Chad Jacobson is caring, professional and trustworthy. I have 5 cats and knowing he is reliable in visiting them twice per day for feedings, giving meds, a little play time and giving me an update is wonderful.

We have a senior dog and two cats. Our dog has arthritis and typically doesn't eat well when we are away. I have found that Chad has a way of getting him to eat quite well and he looks content vs forlorn when we return. Chad always follows our wishes in the care of our pets and has a way of making them feel comfortable. He is willing to do the routine the animals are used to. I don't worry about my animals when he is caring for them.
