Phat and Sassy Dog Grooming

Phat and Sassy Dog Grooming is a pet groomer in Amarillo, Texas. It is listed at 1307 SE 10th Ave #200, Amarillo, TX 79102, which places it among the local businesses of Amarillo that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as dog day care center, pet sitter, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Amarillo is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Amarillo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building.
