Milwaukee is in Wisconsin, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Milwaukee follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. We board our dog there once a year and they do a great job. Friendly staff. Never an issue. Recently PetU has started sending pics and little report card updates of our dog on a daily basis while watching him. Our family really appreciated seeing those while we were away.

I’ve been taking my, now 12 year old, dog to Pet U since she was 6 months old. Now her sister and brother join her there and all 3 look forward to their time at “school”! Angela, Abby, Destiny and the rest of the team know and love my pups. I appreciate updates and photos through the app throughout the day and know they’re safe and cared for during my long day at work.

I agree with a few of the reviews that they are not a fan of bully breeds. I have an American bulldog and the few times I took him here he was EXTREMELY sad when I picked him up. They accused him of being aggressive and urinating in the building. We have had Milo since he was 4 weeks old and he was trained to potty outside at an early age. Bottom line, when he was about 8-9 months old he was kicked out due to “temperament”. They were very aggressive and rude when I came to pick him up. I’ve had many of my friends ask about this place and I’ve routed them to Central Bark. It’s a much better experience. He’s been going there since leaving Pet U and they haven’t complained about ANY of the things the staff complained about. He’s always happy leaving the facility he’s normally hanging out front with the staff getting hugs and pets. Pet U was a TERRIBLE experience for us and Milo! He would come home red and broken out all over with scratches, and HUNGRY. The first two pics is him coming from Pet U years ago and the one with the scarf is him coming from Central Bark….MUCH happier dog. The one in the car was the last day he was there and I was told to not bring him back or to pay for trai

Another wonderful trip to the spa. Been going to Pet U regularly for 6 years for the bath special. It's a great value for a low-maintenance, short-hair breed. They do a terrific job.

I’ve been bringing my dog here since I first got him, and have always left happy and with a super tired puppy! The staff works really well to make sure that he plays with dogs that are similar to him in the way that they play, and interact. They almost always post photos of him, so I get to show my coworkers while I’m at work, and of course send them in my family group chat. They are very good about giving him breaks when he’s being too rambunctious (which I know is a lot of the time). I feel a lot better about taking him here than the dog park because they are a lot closer in proximity to the dogs and can break up any disagreements in seconds. It’s really helpful to bring him here (and also to the Mequon location - it’s lovely there) when I have errands, work, plans where he isn’t invited. I cannot recommend them enough. He’s met with the trainer, Pat, for check ins and to see how he’s developing, and is so helpful for helping me understand my dog. He and other dog trainers there are so incredibly knowledgeable, and are very honest with also using warmth. You have to put in the work for dogs, and the whole team at Pet U does that for my dog when I drop him off.
