Store pulled the sales tag in the middle of shopping. It was the last day of the month but still business hours so we assumed the sale was running till the end of the business day/month. Cashier said no, once the tag is pulled the sale is over, but didn't check it. Aliayah(who said she is the manager) said that the deal was still valid till the close of business but told me we could go to a different store instead. I asked her if she was refusing to allow us to shop there and she said that's not what she said but reiterated and doubled down that we could go to a different petsmart. I didn't yell, I don't use foul language, she had no reason to be so flippant over a simple question about the sale timeframes. I don't care if the tag got pulled early, I just wanted to know if it would still ring up at that price. Bad customer service is a good reason to stick to Boutique pet stores or shopping online. Note to the staff, questions are not a personal atrack, we just want to give your store money. Driving customers to no longer shop in your store will reduce your scheduling budget, as labor is "controllable erosion", which means less hours and staffing cuts over time, you know this righ

Made a 10am appointment for our baby. Showed up early to fill out paperwork before the appointment. Was told to wait outside in the store as our “groomer” leana wasn’t there yet but she’s coming soon. 10 came and went, I went back in and was told the same, then a young woman told another to start my registration, Too Late! The groomer still wasn’t there so we canceled and left. Nice way to run a business. How is leana still working there with that work ethic?

This place SUCKS. I’ve had to pick up my dog 3 times because the girls that applied for being dog groomers don’t want/cant handle a dog. But after reading the reviews I’m not the only one. I’ve never had a problem with Petco they always get the job done with no problems. If I could give negative stars I would.

DO NOT USE THIS PETS HOTEL. i took my baby Felix in to the Pets Hotel at this location and i had the displeasure of dealing with the manager, Irene. She’s incredibly rude, unprofessional, and honestly way in over her head as a manager. I’m not sure how she became manager with her lack of communication skills and ability to take accountability - the power trip she’s on is insane. if you care about your pet, don’t take them here.

The PetSmart on N 5th goes above and beyond in every way. Not only are they well stocked and clean, most importantly, they are kind. Always going above and beyond ensuring the absolute best for my pets. Not only knowing and remembering my name they also know my dog's names, Franklin and Maui. From the store leadership on down to the associates I am always warmly greeted. Extremely knowledgeable staff know which products are best for my boys. I use both the salon and pets hotel as well and will always recommend them to friends and family. This is my wholehearted thank you to the N 5th team and just know it's such a genuine pleasure to shop at this location I actually still make the drive across town to be sure to keep shopping here.
