Pet stores sell the food, treats, toys, beds, crates, leashes and grooming tools that keep a coat in good shape between appointments: slicker brushes, combs, de-shedding tools, nail clippers, shampoos and conditioners. Independent pet shops often carry raw and freeze-dried food and local brands, and many run a grooming salon or a self-service wash in the back; dog bakeries sell fresh treats and birthday cakes; aquarium and exotic pet stores serve fish, birds and reptiles; and feed stores sell bulk food, bedding and supplies for farm animals and horses.

North Canton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and North Canton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great job grooming Charlie only complaint is there is no way to tip the girls unless you bring cash. They need to fix this they work really hard and deserved to be tipped and if you don’t have cash on you there is no way to do this

I was in a few days ago and they had more than a half dozen bettas that were visibly dead in their cups, a few of which had began to decompose already. It is obvious no one has been checking on or caring for them. This is unfortunately my local store and for years, their fish section has been a mess. I have never come into this store and not seen dead fish. They do not keep a very clean store and the care for their other animals is not any better. I have been to grocery stores with better fish care.

The staff was friendly enough, but I brought my pup in for a nail cleanup. Paid for the grinding, not just cutting and his nails came back chipped and jagged. Just a little more work and attention to detail would've made a huge difference. Had to clean them up at Home with my own file. Won't be going back.

Came in and half the reptiles had no water or if they did have water it was disgusting with substrate or poop. This canary very obviously needs a nail trim as well… this is straight up neglect. If the workers can’t do it take the poor bird to a vet! The only animals the workers seem to care about are the small animals.

They have plenty of parking. They have a grooming area for pets. They carry a complete line of pet products. Unlike some grocery stores their products are stocked with a much wider variety. They offer discounts for members. You can adopt a cat or dog. I adopted a cat there twelve years ago. They carry brand name pet products and also organic products, that are reasonably priced. They sell fish and small pets like birds and hamsters, along with pet food and toys and cages and fish tanks. They have a built-in a pet adoption center that is staffed. There is also a veterinarian clinic near the cash registers, that offers pet insurance. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there is plenty of room to shop.
