We brought our 11 month old puppy in for nail trimming and grinding today and had a great experience! Katelyn did it and she was very informative and helpful, and also super sweet to my dog. All the staff are very nice as well.

Places like this North Augusta PetSmart, and employees like Karen and Kaitlyn (sp.?) are why I shop at brick-and-mortar instead of online. A recent visit to the vet made it so that I needed to change my beloved soulmate dog's food to something else pretty particular. I went to PetSmart and was trying to figure it out on my own, but one of these two ladies spent a good hour helping me find just the right balance at a price that was reasonable. I left feeling satisfied with that visit. Then, maybe a week or so after, I went in to buy some cute little diaper covers for my dog and Kaitlyn and Karen were just wonderful. They remembered her, helped us, and even offered her a surprise balloon pup cup. My dog, who usually never accepts treats from strangers, and who has never liked pup cups, devoured all of it happily. It really made our day for days. I appreciate places like this and employees like these two women more than I can express. For this reason, I will continue to support in-person stores rather than online. It can make all the difference in our lives.

The employee who checked us out today did something inappropriate. After we paid $50 for our bag of dog food, she said "I haven't had a chance to look at the ingredients yet," and proceeded to look at the ingredients. Mind you, I didn't ask her to do that. After she glanced over the ingredient list, she remarked that the food contains "grain fillers, and turkey meal, which means turkey bones." I never asked her to editorialize on the quality or ingredients of the dog food that I feed my pets, and her comments were inappropriate, inaccurate, and uncalled for. Turkey meal is made from more than just turkey bones. It is a good quality protein source used in many high-quality dog foods. And grains provide essential nutrients for dogs and are more than just "fillers." We chose Jinx because of its high quality and veterinary recommendation, and frankly we don't care what the cashier at PetSmart thinks about it, and she can kindly keep her unwanted opinions to herself. next time I'll just order it from chewy. They'll deliver it to my door and I don't have to deal with somebody looking down her nose that I don't feed my dog the same thing that she would feed her dog.

They are so sweet and helpful. I've been having issues setting up my tank with water levels. I'm almost ready for fish thanks to the awesome employees ☺️. I also brought my dog Sally to get new toys ❤️. My go to pet store.❤️

I am continually frustrated with whoever does the ordering and inspecting of the ordering when it comes in for the reptile department. For months, I have been buying hornworms, superworms and flightless fruit flies, and either they are 1) not in stock, 2) horrible quality or dead inside the packages, or 3) not as described on the package. When I shop elsewhere, I get exactly what I shop for, what the package states, and in good living condition- I just have to drive to Aiken or Augusta to get it. The flies last approx a month as they reproduce in the package. I got exactly one meal from yesterday's package. 8.99$ for one meal for a baby chameleon is utter nonsense. And three dead hornworms, 4 to a pack is 10$. Why even put the package on the shelf?! If they are dead or too small to eat, why even accept that order in the first place? The only reason I placed an extra star rating is because the girl at the cash register last night is always so helpful and discounts for dead worms. She is the most helpful person in that entire store, always answering questions and helping find things while running the register. If you try to find someone else, they are non existent.
