Very disappointed and worried for my young puppy - I took my 5 month old puppy here for her very first grooming appointment buying the “Puppy package” hoping for a GENTLE introduction to the process. Instead my puppy went in her usual playful, sweet and friendly self and came out completely traumatized , scared , biting and a drastic change in behavior. For a whole day and night she would not let me touch her and was scared of even her own crate that she loved so much which got me thinking they stuck her in a kennel using a high velocity dryer. What bothers me most aside from her bad experience is that the staff said everything was fine and she was only nervous with the dryer. They could have stopped the session early at any signs of distress or any other behavior instead of pushing a young puppy to her limit. They did not even call me to communicate that she wasn’t doing well. A puppy just doesn’t come home with such a big change in behavior unless they were mishandled. I am not a first time dog owner. I have had multiple pets and this is the first time I have brought a puppy home from grooming so scared. It feels like they just kept going through the process and not taking int

Just left the store and I suggest no one comes here. I bought clippers a few weeks ago and was told I can return if it doesnt work out for me, it did not work out for me. I was able to return it but upon attempting to buy another clipper the manager "Thad" told the cashier to tell me if I buy this razor I will not be able to return it...I proceed to ask him why and he states because I bought clippers before I cant buy another one and return it if it doesnt work for me... After reviewing the policy this is not in the policy at all. Seems like the Thad has a issue and personal prefences upon my purchases...Also upon asking the manger for his pen so I can write his name down he decided to hand me the pen but not let it go out of his hand? Very uncalled for..Corporate states this is not the stadard anyone should experince and apologized I was even treated like that.

If I could leave zero stars i genuinely would. Where do I begin? Typically my dog gets groomed by someone else but this time i unfortunately had to pick a different groomer as it seems the other one has not been in awhile. My dogs groomer was Angel. When I walked in she was extremely rude and did not handle my dog with any type of care or treat me with any respect. Fast forward two hours later I receive a call that Angel put my dog into her car and was taking her to the vet for a “red eye”. They couldn’t even tell me the address that they took my dog to on top of that. When I arrived to the vet it was very clear this was not just a “red eye” and some type of negligence happened as my dogs eye was completely swollen and hemorrhaged. She also had an ulcer in her eye and a limp. Angel did not show any type of care or remorse. In fact when I walked in instead of being apologetic she handed me my consent forms and simply left. No type of apology or sympathy. The vet confirmed my dogs injury happened through blunt trauma and/or strangulation. Needless to say do not take your dog here and DO NOT BOOK WITH ANGEL.

I love this Naperville Petsmart. They offered a lot more items on clearance than the others I’ve visited and the prices are pretty good. I took advantage of the flyers on the rack for the groomer and that appointment is coming up. They have Banfield veterinary hospital set up really nice in store. They also have a grooming salon where I found the staff here to be a lot friendlier than the Joliet location. This location is definitely my favorite Petsmart location.

I have been taking my dog to Petsmart for YEARS for grooming without issue. After moving to Naperville, I made the mistake of trying this location. Heather cut my dog pretty badly and decided it was unimportant to tell me upon pick up. I didn’t know until I noticed him kicking the area and bleeding after we had left. Accidents happen, but what isn’t okay is that employees at this store think that it’s okay to not mention it, leaving pets at risk for infection. I contact the store, they submit a refund for the service, and I was pretty satisfied at the time with their attempt to amend the situation and came to rebook with someone else, as I felt this was likely a problem with the individual groomer that worked on him, not every groomer at this location. I call the store to set up the appointment and they actually ACCEPTED it….before calling me 7 hours later to cancel it due to the error that they accepted responsibility for by submitting the refund last time. I honestly couldn’t believe it. I have never been treated so poorly by a company in my life. I started driving all the way to the groomers at the Petco in Romeoville where they have do an excellent job. Do yourself a favor an
