Pet stores sell the food, treats, toys, beds, crates, leashes and grooming tools that keep a coat in good shape between appointments: slicker brushes, combs, de-shedding tools, nail clippers, shampoos and conditioners. Independent pet shops often carry raw and freeze-dried food and local brands, and many run a grooming salon or a self-service wash in the back; dog bakeries sell fresh treats and birthday cakes; aquarium and exotic pet stores serve fish, birds and reptiles; and feed stores sell bulk food, bedding and supplies for farm animals and horses.

Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Miami peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They recently started charging 25 cents for carts. Ridiculous for a company that regularly sells 40 lb bags of pet food. Who even carries quarters? I went in with my baby and had to walk right out. I want to support retail infrastructure but I’ll be ordering from chewy. Did private equity buy PetSmart? Just an idiotic business decision.

The store had a decent variety of products, and everything seemed fairly easy to locate. However, some shelves looked messy and it was difficult to find assistance when I had a question. Nothing was terrible, but the overall experience felt average. With better organization, this could be a much better place to shop.

I absolutely love this pet smart. They always have my cats treats which are specific for urinary issues, they always have a big stock of shampoos and food for my 2 cats. I'm on their points system, so one time I went in and got literally got 100 dollars for 10 dollars. 1000 percent recommend. You can't find what you need else where for your fur babies I bet you will here

I used to always take my dog there for grooming with an appointment scheduled, and until now everything was great because when you book an appointment, you expect your dog to actually be attended to at that time. I called around 1:30pm to ask if I could drop her off earlier and if they had availability, and they said yes over the phone. I came back to pick her up at 4:30pm, and the employee told me she would only be ready between 6pm–7pm. I don’t know if they think this is normal, but having an appointment and leaving a dog waiting 5–6 hours inside a cage is absolutely not normal to me. And it never will be. It’s disrespectful, and honestly there’s no point in scheduling appointments if the dog is just going to sit there for hours waiting for a bath and grooming. The manager even came over saying that if I wanted it done faster, I should have paid for an express service. I simply replied: if you give appointment times, the service should follow those times. Especially considering my dog is only 3 pounds. This was disrespectful to the client, to people’s time, and most importantly to the animal itself. Because when a business charges for absolutely everything , even $3 for a b

I had a 5:30 PM appointment and called 10 minutes before to say I was stuck in traffic and would arrive about 15 minutes late. They told me they only allow a 10-minute grace period. I begged them to please be patient because my dog is sick and needed to see the same doctor who treated her before for a follow-up. I specifically requested the same doctor when booking because my dog actually got worse after the previous treatment. When I arrived, Dr. Alison treated me in a very rude and unprofessional way. She showed clear annoyance that I was late and refused to see my dog. On top of that, she wasn’t even the doctor I had requested. There was zero compassion for my dog’s condition. She didn’t even ask what was happening. I left the clinic crying and extremely distressed. A place that claims to care for animals should show empathy and professionalism. I canceled my subscription immediately and will never return. Very disappointing experience. I completely understand clinic policies regarding arrival times, but what I cannot accept is the rude, dismissive and disrespectful way Dr. Alison spoke to me from beginning to end, even while seeing how worried and distressed I was about my
