I want to start by giving credit to the wonderful cashier who handled my return—she was lovely, patient, and completely professional. Unfortunately, my overall experience with this store was unacceptable. I recently discovered that the dry cat food I purchased here was completely stale and past its prime. I had unknowingly fed it to my cat for two weeks, which resulted in constant stomach upset and frequent bowel movements. When I came into the store to return the bad food, I had my full receipt laid out right across the counter. Despite this, a manager came over the cashier’s walkie-talkie to confirm whether I had proof of purchase while the return was being finished. Management should trust their great front-line staff to do their jobs instead of micromanaging them over the radio. More importantly, management's attention needs to be on basic quality control: check your inventory and get expired, stale food off the shelves so pets don't get sick.

Solid selection of tropical fish. No salt water at this location. Are the tanks looked healthy and well kept, but they were having trouble with the neon tetras, which have not been as healthy anywhere the last few years. They had sold out of most of their small mammals, presumably because it was the weekend of the fourth of July. They have a well organized and clean store with a full selection of food and supplies for most pets.

Yes we came in late but we were there more than 15 minutes before closing. My daughter saw a bearded dragon she wanted. We shopped around to pick out the things we needed to upgrade a current enclosure. We ask for help. Then a lady comes over and say we close and three minutes you will have to come back tomorrow. It is right there we know which one. Guess we will go to Animal Trax to get one. And by pass pet smart from now on for any of our pet needs we have 3 cats 2 dogs 2 turtles and we use to always go there to get our pet needs we even a thousand bucks on the high end automated cat litter boxes. It would have only taken a few minutes. We were told to come back tomorrow well we have lives and things going on we just can't undo work schedules and other obligations. Which still would put us coming in at the same time just minutes before they close the next day.

Petsmart on University drive no longer allows Foregotten Felines to be in the store based on one complaint because someone got their feelings hurt being denied an application. The way Petsmart handled canecelling Foregotten Felines was pretty poor and then booting them out. This was my go to pet store and will go to Petco and Pet Supplies instead. I WILL NOT spend another dime with Petsmart and cancelling my auto ship of $130 a month for my dog’s food.

A special thank you to this Pet Smart for its affordable prices compared to other stores I tried in the area. An associate named Dominique (who is always so friendly when I shop here) was quick to call in help for me when I wanted to see the tarantulas up close. The woman who then came to my aid was also one I spoke with on the phone before I came in. Both were kind and helpful. I had a male stripe knee tarantula for 7 years, and after he passed I’ve wanted a new spider. They can be truly amazing companions. Pet Smart made that happen. Thank you so much.
