My experience at PetSmart. I was trying to buy a guinea pig at this place. First they'll make you buy the cages and all the supplies then they'll ask you what size cage you have. That's really none of their business. I bought one from here but they refuse to sell me a second one due to the size of the cage. This cage I have is very huge no matter what kind or what size this guinea pig was it was a small one. They wanted me to buy a second one for the size cage I got before which was a 48 or something like that then I dropped it down to maybe 30 some size cage and they would not sell me a second one this cage is huge for a little baby one. I recommend people do not shop at the store do not buy any pets whatsoever

My experience at the Spring Meadows PetSmart Grooming Salon was subpar. My dog's appointment was at 8am but I had to be at work by 8:15 so I tried 3 times to call the grooming salon to let them know I would be dropping her off closer to 7:30 but that I didn't expect them to groom her earlier. Had they answered the phone, I wouldn't have shown up and been told I was too early and to let them know even though I tried. Then I tried to explain how I wanted my dog to be groomed and showed a photo. I also said I understood she was matted and that she may be a little shorter than a 4-5 in some areas but would appreciate if they could not practically shave her to the skin. She said okay. But when I picked her up, her tail and face were inches longer than the rest of her body and on her body, I could see her skin her fur was cut so short. I paid $129 for my dog to look kinda ridiculous. I won't return to this location. The one on Monroe St does a fantastic job but I figured I'd give my local PetSmart a chance... my mistake. Staff was friendly for the most part and I'll continue to do my shopping here but I won't revisit the grooming salon.

My dog was groomed in early December and after the groom I was very upset with how my dog looked. Danny the groomer said my dog was well behaved so I'm not sure why my dog still looked horrible. The cut was choppy and uneven. Her ears aren't the same length and her face looks so bad. The mustache is shaved while her chin is so long it looks like she gave her a double chin. I never said anything because I'm not that kind of person but this is unacceptable. I will not be groomed by Danny and wouldn't recommend it either. None of the other dogs in the store looked this way.

There is a vet office located within the store. They also offer training for your dogs. They have a grooming salon with longer hours throughout the week. On occasion, they have decent online coupons and offers. The Pit Crew comes in to help volunteer with dog and cat sales for the public. And, of course, a wide variety of pet supplies and toys.

Pet store with loads of pet stuff plus dog lessons. Clean enough. Cashier's seem ok most of the time. Every once in a while you get some employee that is from outer space. But most of them are pretty good. You are allowed to bring your dog in.
