I was taking my dog here for the last 3 years and I was happy with their service until the last visit. They called me 2 hrs after I left my dog for bath and brush only and told me that they were unable to do anything. I do not know what my dog did there for 2 hours! Then I picked my dog and the manager came to offer another service with discount. I wanted to give one more chance since this was my usual grooming spot, people make mistakes. This time, my wife went there to drop the dog and groomer said she is too busy at that day, won’t be able to service per appointment! Manager came again, calmed my wife too and took our dog. They offered full haircut, bath and brush with the price of bath and brush. 2 hours later, we picked up our dog. Just bathed and brushed, but charged with full haircut as well because manager was not there. This was the worst customer experience with the new staff and groomer they have. Even the manager tried to fix things, it got worst. Never going there again.

Great selection of pet supplies and friendly staff who really seem to care about the animals. I especially loved the grooming area, where my pup was pampered and came out looking amazing. Always a positive experience when I visit!

I’m not impressed with this service. I took my dog in for a bath and brush + essential. I noticed straight away they didn’t clean his ears thoroughly so I had to clean them when I got home. Also with the essential add on it says they get a bandana which is a cute bonus, but no bandana for him. This isn’t a big deal, but if you say you’re going to do something I expect it to be done. 2 stars for the bath. Will go somewhere else next time that pays more attention to detail.

Omg... loved it! Really, it's all about the groomer and handling. I happily pay a bit more for express service (she's a very excitable puppy with anxiety issues). My fur baby has seen the same groomer twice now, and it's made things so much easier. Establishing a rapport is so important because you're initially leaving your beloved treasure in the hands of a stranger. Stephanie is a caring, seasoned groomer and such a sweet person. She isn't the only hidden gem in the Newton PetSmart grooming salon or in the general store. It's a real pleasure shopping this store.
