Well someone took my review down. Guess I'm going to put it back up. I went to this location on Saturday Dec 14th to have my pet's picture taken with Santa. I drove 30 miles. You were supposed to show a sales associate your electric ticket that you were supposed to make reservations for. They didn't do that. I had a coupon for a free bandana and a dog toy, and spray along with other coupons you were supposed to receive from having your picture taken with Santa. Plus the person whom was taking the pictures with a tablet said I would receive all the pictures taken in my email. They took more than one picture and I only got one. Plus after the photo session I asked about the promotion and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. They had to ask another associate and they said that it was only good for the grooming salon. I tried to show them the coupon for the promotion and tried pointing out that it doesn't show that on the ticket. They didn't want to look at the coupon! That's a scam and false advertising! I went in to Kalamazoo Petsmart today and attempted to ask a employee a question. I said hello several times and she intentionally ignored me, so I said it louder. Then she told me that I heard you, but, since you didn't say excuse me, I ignored you. She wasn't talking to anyone, just stocking shelves, so I thought a simple hello would suffice. I told manager and she didn't seem surprised by the employees actions. Anyway I left my catfood there and will be talking to my husband about canceling our chewy orders. If the manager isn't surprised by this employees actions why is she still there? The holidays are stressful enough without rude employees. This was not a grooming employee.

I try never to leave bad reviews because most of the time, problems at retail places are never the fault of the associate. However, I brought my dog in for a deshed and nail trim, and when meeting my dog, the groomer immediately cornered her in the cashier area and started grabbing her ears and grabbing her face to open her mouth to see teeth without even letting the dog sniff them or even see them completely before touching her. When they started to grab my dogs paws to see her nails, my dog nipped in the direction of the groomer, and my appointment was canceled due to my dog being apparently too aggressive. I completely understand protecting the safety of groomers. However, immediately putting a dog (of which it was her first ever grooming appointment) in a corner and grabbing her without 1) asking the owner and 2) letting the dog see them was incredibly bad manners and I am really disappointed. I wanted her first groom to be a good and healthy one, but this was just bad. I knew this was the cheapest option, but I didn't expect it to be this unprofessional.
