Grooming: Victor- What the heck? I had my golden retriever in for grooming yesterday. I dropped him off at noon. Victor had not groomed Rufus before- we always used Devonte, who was good, but I just learned yesterday that he no longer works there. The grooming directions were to bathe, trim and file nails, trim his Grinchy toe fur, and to use a deep conditioner. Full brushing and blow out. Period. What I got was a grooming that took 3.5 hours (Devonte always finished in under 2 hours) and Victor gave my golden a FULL UNDER BELLY AND SANITARY TRIM. Who does that to a golden retriever? Rufus was in a panic to get out of there, and I am furious! On another note, I saw Kelly deal with a couple of other dogs very lovingly and I will try her next time. She was also trying to pick up the slack for Victor, who was obviously overwhelmed. Petsmart- I think and hope that next time Kelly will fit the bill, otherwise, we are done with you!

Belen is the best! My dog had his first groom with her & she did such a great job. She’s very nice & has a positive attitude! The Germantown location needs to take notes from Kentlands, always an awesome experience here!

Ryan was extremely helpful! She not only helped us understand what type of fish we inherited but also how to take care of them! Highly recommend for all your fishy and aquatic needs!

I never leave reviews, but dang the Kentlands Petsmart has gone downhill! Do not come here if you need any type of assistance. I struggle every time I come to pick up crickets for my terrarium— today was the last straw. We waited over in the aquatics area in front of the crickets for 40 minutes without seeing a single staff member. At that point, we went to go check out and figured we’d find someone to help over in that area. We ended up with a staff member and they said “yeah just go wait.” When I told him we’ve been waiting for a very long time, and asked if we should continue to wait, The staff member huffed at me and said “we’re kind of slammed.” Now, I am in the store on a weekly basis for our various animals and I have definitely seen them busy before… this was not it. He was super rude and uncaring, offered no timing, made no attempt to flag down any other staff member— I believe it’s the same young man mentioned in another review. Stopping to pick up pet food should not take this long. This was a 10 minute task that was turned into an hour, and the staff were rude and ineffective on top of this. The store was also in disarray in certain areas. It just feels like management

Victor, Isabel, and Kelly are amazing groomers! They are so compassionate, caring, and careful with my dog who is an 8 year rescue dog with traumatic history. They are special people who love animals and do a beautiful job with taking care of my fur baby!
