The training is extremely horrible due to the facts that PetSmart is only interested in making a profit and also they don’t care about the dog or training the owners. I will tell you why they put ten dogs in one session and the trainer speaks vey softly so you can’t hear her. I have complained to the trainer personally about this including management and they don’t do anything about it because they don’t care. The dogs don’t learn anything. Plus they’re overpriced. The trainer will tell you your dogs are doing good, but she can’t watch everybody. When I complain to the store about the training, they always said it’s corporate. I can tell you right now. If you have a puppy, you better PetSmart and getting you trained somewhere else. They want to charge you $250 for six sessions which is not even worth it. If you want to go private sessions with them, PetSmart is all the way around being a veteran. They don’t like it when you complain and as I was taught army to speak my mind as noncommissioned so so I do and I follow instructions to the letter. Positive reinforcement is stressed and the instructor Julia is invested in our success. The class can be repeated without charge if you or your pooch need more time.
