Normally I have zero issues going to this place, but I draw the line at finding bugs in a $50 bag of dog food! I even contacted the manufacturer and they immediately handled the situation, told me that it typically happens WHEN the product sits in the store to long and not rotated OR sits in the back waiting to come out again, not rotated.

Sick animals. I have bought 3 aquatic pets here over the course of this year and they all ended up being very sick. It took months of medication to save my betta, my frogs from here arrived very ill and one of them passed away. I recently got some guppies, and they all have wasting disease. It is not a bad store and the cashier kid is super nice, but other than that, they need to take better care of the aquarium department

Austin and Ralph helped me out today and we're very kind with my dog and my family. They were helpful with the products I needed, helped me sign up for membership rewards. 10/10 they gave me the best PetSmart experience I've ever had across the nation. Thank you guys!

For Noah's Kingdom Humane Society >> It’s Official. Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society as of March 9, 2026 is no longer located at or associated with PetSmart Charities at 161 Washington Avenue Extension in Albany, N.Y. where we had successfully operated our shelter and served our community for the last 29 years. With only a few weeks’ notice we were told the unexpected news that we have been asked to leave to allow for another shelter to take our place. PetSmart management believes the other shelter will have more “in store events” and bring in paying customers. Our priority and focus has always been a commitment to the animal rescue, rehabilitation and placement in loving homes. Customer acquisition was never on our agenda. Our request for an extension to April 1, 2026 to allow for the safe and responsible adoption of cats and kittens currently in our care was denied. As we had virtually no advance warning of this decision it has put our volunteers, cats, and the very existence of our shelter in jeopardy. Please know our commitment and devotion remains animal rescue and placement of pets in approved and fully vetted forever homes. Our commitment will not waiver. All cats are safe

I had a young man assist me finding the proper diet for my service dog "Kennie". He was profesional and polite, he also explained in laymen terms and never made you feel bad.
