This was literally the best pet store experience of my life. Ray was so kind and helpful, keeping up a conversation with us & constantly checking in on us. We had the opportunity to hold a corn snake and fat tailed gecko, giving us information and facts about them. It was so fun to have someone to speak to about lizards and fish etc! He even spoke to us about the rose breasted parrot! (my favorite bird, I was so excited to see one in person!)

What an absolute garbage heap of a store. Petland of Southpoint sells a flimsy dog poop scooper for $30 (yes, thirty dollars for cheap plastic), and when it broke almost immediately, they refused to exchange, refund, or do anything to make it right. Zero accountability, zero customer service, zero respect for the people who keep them in business. The plastics literally snapped apart like dollar-store junk, yet Petco hides behind policy instead of standing behind their products. This is exactly why no one shops here anymore and why the company is circling the drain into bankruptcy. A complete dumpster fire of a store shoppers beware.

We had a great experience at Petland! Ray was extremely helpful in helping us pick out our Beta fish. He was very knowledgeable and helped us get exactly what we needed and educated us on how to care for our new fish. We will definitely be back!

Went into Petland today with my daughters to adopt a hamster & some toys. Ray helped us pick out everything we needed & went above & beyond explaining things to us. He was very helpful & friendly. I came in a few days ago and bought a frog, the employee who helped us was Raymond. He was the absolute sweetest guy ever, very friendly and customer service was AMAZING. He gave us any and all information we asked for, all accurate. This man deserves a raise! He is always so nice every time I’m in there.
