Warwick is in Rhode Island, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Warwick follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It is August 20th at 2:36 p.m. I walked in around 2:20. I looked at the dog grooming station and there is a small blonde girl with glasses that was working. She was working on a what seemed to be a small Chihuahua looking dog mixed with another breed. Maybe it was like a brown tan and I think he had dark ears. She was cutting his nails and he was trying to like get out of the headpiece that she had on him and then when he tried to get out she tightened it so tight. I saw him coughing and I stood there and nobody helped her. She didn't ask for any help and when she noticed I was staring at her, she then started to laugh and then everybody looked at me. If this is your dog I would not go back there. They completely ignored the fact that your dog was being choked out by a leash and I feel really bad that your dog had to go through that but once everybody saw me standing there that's when they had somebody come in and have help and your dog literally had to prop himself or herself on the other worker because he was being choked so he had to prop himself up to be able to breathe. I hope you never take your dog here ever again and I will not be shopping here anymore because I'm not going

Typical box store, even for a Pet Store. Plenty of items to choose from, good selection, good prices, but when we got to the register, we and another customer in front of us waited for 5 minutes for someone to come and man the register. I had to go walking around the building searching for an employee to ask them if there was anyone who could do it. Finally, I found someone and all they did was yell a person's name and said to go to the front. I went back and waited and still no one came and finally that same employee who yelled out the other employee's name came out, looked and saw that no one was there and she decided that she would do it. That was very frustrating and unprofessional by the store employees.

Went in to check out their jumping spiders. They had them displayed on a cardboard case that was easily accessible to children/ people to pick them up, shake them, etc..., which absolutely causes stress to the spiders in there. Three of the four on the display were dead. Completely dry enclosures when they need water/ humidity to both molt and drink from. Do better. Really sad to see.

many thanks to the knowledgeable employee who helped me get set up for my snowflake whites tree frog! She spent probably a solid hour with me talking through the options, making sure I had everything I needed, and ensuring I was getting the best deals possible. frog has been active and seemingly enjoying exploring her new habitat :) while I'm normally not a big-box pet supply supporter, my only local reptile/amphibian store kept its animals in poorer conditions, and I felt I was purchasing a happier and healthier frog from this petco. Customer service was just fantastic; i didn't feel like the employee helping me was trying to push a sale or usher me out the door, just really spending the time to make sure me and my new pet were set up for success together.

I enjoyed my visit to this Petco. They have a great range of animals and fish, and they were all quite active during my time there. The store is large, and there are plenty of products for pretty much anything pet related. I like the doggie treat bar, and the gerbils were pretty amazing. Stop in sometime you can even take your dog.
