I made this appointment a month in advance and paid for additional services as part of the package, so I was expecting a professional and welcoming experience. Unfortunately, the initial interaction with the staff was extremely disappointing. I walked in with my dog, Ben, and was immediately told, “Could you wait outside? I’ll call you,” without a greeting, explanation, or any basic courtesy. I was never called in and was eventually waved inside by the same staff member. Another young woman then came out and had a much more pleasant demeanor, but by that point, the initial interaction had already left a very negative impression. I was later informed that they could not groom Ben because he would not allow them to touch him, which I completely understand and have no issue with. My concern is the way the experience began and the lack of professionalism and customer service. As someone new to New Jersey and the area, I was disappointed that this was my first experience with this location. I honestly wish I had read the reviews beforehand, as I would not have booked this location had I known what to expect. I would encourage anyone considering this location to read the reviews care

No cats or dogs in sight other than the ones that are being groomed. Small pet selections but plenty of fish that I wasn't really interested in. Guinea Pigs were cute, birds, n reptiles.

Swung by this place (first time at a Petco) being a non-pet customer to get a bird feeder. Was pleasantly surprised to see some pets like guinea pigs, mice, parakeets, fishes and even chameleons on sale and their enclosures were fairly well maintained. They have a huge shop with so many pet needs and pet grooming salons. My kid had a fun time thinking he was at a zoo. The parking is huge as it’s attached to a common shopping plaza.

i had an unpleasant experience with who ever the vet team were that day. October 29th. They ripped my dog from me. Which was very different from our usual vetco visits at the Edison location, as they allow us in the room with our pets. They immediately tried to put a muzzle on her, they also tried to pin her down??? For context my dog isa pit mix weighs about 60 lbs and the vet had a sling on her arm and two assistants¿ i guess? I was then told that she would not be able to administer the vaccines my dog needed…cool. i then had to wait for another off day to schedule an appointment and was told when i got to the desk that my dog had been blacklisted from vetco clinics… another wasted day🙂 anywho my humongous demonic toddler eating pitbull below

Horrible store. All the animals are poorly taken care of. You can see how filthy they are, as well as their enclosures. It’s so sad. Idk who to even report this to. Also all their fish tanks are dirty with tons of passed away fish. Smells funky too in there. I’d avoid…
