I'd just gotten a new rescue dog and I hadn't had a dog really since childhood and it was a less stressful event when I could take my dog into the store and he could pick out a couple of toys and the staff helped us find a nice harness and collar. It was 95 degrees outside that day and cool in the store and it was good to see other dogs in there.

This store has the most disgusting bathroom I have seen in a business, and I worked as a custodian in college dorm buildings. The soap was sitting on the sinks, trashcan full, the urinal was brown, both bathroom stalls were filthy. The toilets were covered in bodily fluids, with toilet paper stuck to one of the seats, while the other toilet was clogged with feces. This store is also selling a variety of products advertised as safe for rabbits/hamsters/rats/etc when in reality the products are made with toxic chemicals and materials. Not only is this store constantly understaffed but the shelves are also constantly disorganized with items marked with incorrect prices. The isles are dirty, many of the tanks with live animals are in disarray and disgusting aswell. I have never liked how this specific location is run, as I've had multiple employees mishandle the animals while putting them in the cardboard carriers. Including an instance in which an employee sold me "female" mice (turned out both were males), and grabbed both mice by the tips of their tails. This can very easily result in paralysis in mice and other rodents, as their tails are directly connected to their spines. Photos

Searched for quite a while to find employee. Passed to 3 different employees and none of them knew location, purpose or use for the items I needed. 3rd employee said, I don't think we have those after 10 seconds of looking on the aisle I was already on. I asked for someone who would know more, and each time they knew less and cared less and put in less effort. Disappointed in customer service. Employees have no familiarity with store layout or products, and seem to not care about being helpful. After searching for quite some time unsuccessfully, I went to another store. This used to be my favorite place to get things for my multiple pets, but I'm very discouraged and won't be back here any time soon.

I came here this weekend to look at some fish but the place looked like a war zone when we got there. Most of the fish in the saltwater tanks were dead or dying. The few fish that still alive were eating the dead fish and none of the workers seem to care. The tanks were nasty with algae everywhere, it smelled horrible and it looked like no one’s been over there in months. Definitely wouldn’t get a fish from here!!!
