Will never go back. 1st we had an appointment in May of 2026. With no notifications it was cancelled. The only way I found out was the fact that I was looking up the date and time for the girls to get done. So I rescheduled. We showed up for our appointments yesterday and was notified that in March of 2026 the girls rabies shot had expired. My husband responded by handing the groomer a form from the vets that our girls got updated 3 yrs shots in March of 2026. She took the forms looked at them and typed the information into their system. Then she proceeded to make the comment that they don't always have the ability to that information or have the time to look that stuff up either. Then the groomer questioned us about fleas. Yes, we have been having an issue with fleas. I explained to her that we tried Seresto flea collars but Angel went into seizures with it on. We tried an all natural flea collar from social media but our big dog ate his. The groomer appeared to know what we were talking about and did agree that that wasn't good. Plus we have tried powdering the girls with baking soda with no help and powdering with dimitrious earth powder with no help. We also admitted to using

I love going to Petco specifically because of the staff. They always have a smile on their face and are willing to help with whatever you need! Wonderful customer service

I would give a 4 stars but due to the horrible cashier I can only give a 1 Star! She was so slow it was ridiculous. I was only one in line and she just took her time putting on hand lotion while I waited for her to ring up my 2 little items! Then other customers came up and immediately other cashiers jumped on registers and rang up 2-3 customers while J waited. She was just looking around at everyone else, not once but me!!! I was so livid by the time I left there!

Update #2 - spoke with the manager of the store who made it seem like I was lying about this horrible experience. Check the cameras! Found out the butcher aka “stylist” is named Andrea so BEWARE! Additionally, Nathan (another butcher working here) had apparently told his manager that Andrea had done no wrong. Moral of the story - under NO circumstances do you want to go here. Not only do they not know how to cut/style breeds but they take ZERO accountability from the top down. Do yourself a favor and go to a REPUTABLE groomer!! Update: Petco - the appointment didn’t remotely meet “my expectations” your “groomer/stylists” BUTCHERED my dogs coat! Your basic response is disappointing. Your groomers shouldn’t have A JOB IF THEY DON’T KNOW THE BASICS! Not even worth 1 star!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE IF IT IS LONGHAIRED OR HAS A DOUBLE COAT! They gave our golden retriever a buzzcut! ..a completely uneven buzzcut with n a double coated breed. And after 3 hours they had only worked his body (thank god they didn’t do more damage to the rest of him!!). No nails done or teeth cleaning or even his face cleaned up! They DONT KNOW THE BASICS FOR BREEDS. DO NOT GO HERE!!
