Petco Grooming

I brought my 18-month-old black lab in for a nail trim. This was his third visit to Petco. I was assisted by Awstyn when registering. Awstyn took Gunner back for his appointment and I went to the desk to pay for the service. I returned less than five minutes later and my dog was secured to a table with only two clips on his collar, otherwise freestanding without any body restraint. Awstyn had a foot and leg on the table and was bending his paw backwards trying to use the grinder on his left front paw. Gunner became agitated and tried to pull away. At this point the table tipped over and Gunner was left hanging by his collar on the table. The lack of concern or urgency shown my pet was sufficiently concerning that I pushed open the door to help Gunner to his feet and reassure him. Awstyn’s reaction was not concern but to inform me that I wasn’t “really supposed to be back here,” while completely ignoring my pet’s situation and instead concentrating on setting the table upright. I sternly replied that I was trying to make sure my dog didn’t hang himself. I then left the room. My dog doesn't generally need to be cut, maybe every 3 or 4th bath will I have him trimmed. This last time he just needed a bath and brushed out, when I went to pick him up after 3 hours he was still wet. I even said to the groomer he's still very wet and she just brushed me off. Once I got home it took me over 30 min just to blow dry him. If I wanted the mess of blow drying and brushing my dog out, I wouldn't have bothered bring him in to be groomed. Disappointed

Very choppy and they cut her tail completely off. It does not look professional. She is supposed to have a long tail like a papillon. It's going to take forever to grow back.

I’ve been taking my Siberian Husky here for a while. I don’t know what Brooke does but my dog is always so smooth and silky for weeks. She does a fantastic job every single time! She’s the best. The other groomer staff is also very friendly. I have taken her other places before and by far the best job in getting her undercoat! If you have a husky definitely request Brooke! Thank you Brooke, love Kiera and me!

Missy did a horrible job on grooming my goldendoodle. The cut is uneven around his body yet she did not trim around his face or head. I asked her to keep his fur around this legs longer but she did not. He still smelled and did not look brushed afterward either. I was very disappointed by the cut and lack of bathing. I will never return here for grooming services. I was shocked by how he unkept he looked afterward.
