Took my chihuahua-mix for a walk-in nail trim. We were in and out within 20 minutes. Work was great and quick.

4th time and my last time for groom. previously i'd always had extra charges due to matting, understandable. took my dog to get groom and made a conscious effort to prevent matting, had none which was great. i still was charged extra because "typically dogs come in 6-8 weeks and your last appointment was 4 months ago" .. doesn't seem reasonable at all, what if i went elsewhere inbetween appointments? my dog was not cooperating with the stylist today and had to pick him up early. she told me he was feisty and bit last time, which was news to me as i'd always been told he'd done great. told me to look elsewhere, which i already was planning to based on these random fees and charges. lady was very condescending and didn't seem to care about taking care of my dog while grooming. won't ever step foot into petco grooming or the store anymore.

Alexis is great with my older long haired Pug mix. He has "old man" bumps on his body and she is super careful not to knick them. Our younger Golden Doodle is very excitable, but friendly and Alexis take her time to make sure they are both comfortable. The caring and patience Alexis takes with my dogs ensures that they are in good hands. These are their before & after pics (as you can see, they went from their long winter coats to the short springtime coats, exactly as I requested.)

Paula and her team are amazing when it comes to dog grooming. Paula bathed my dog and left her looking and feeling amazing, my dog was happy and got good tips to keep my dog good until next service thank you Paula.

I had taken my toy poodle here 3 years ago, had a terrible experience they left him half shaved, scared, nicked his skin,left scabs and cuts and said he was nipping them, I had brought him to other “salons” no wait time, no Kennals and this felt like “jail” compared to that! I wasn’t necessarily upset about how they treat the dogs while waiting until I saw how much it affected the “before and after” grooming process in his brain. So we never came back! This was Alexis by the way, so 3 years later… keep in mind I shop here 3 times a week and have for the past 3 years! I love the staff but the grooming employed have no clue what dog anatomy is!! Okay, so I brought my border collie she’s a 1 year old border collie has been trimmed 3 times! No issue with “one on one salons” I was going out of state so decided to try a “summer trim” at Petco and again had a TERRIBLE experience! They shaved her belly,armpits and behind the ears…!!! Is that a summer trim?? (Trim is scissors) Did I ask for a shaved summer cut??? FOR A BORDER COLLIE ESPECIALLY is insane! You guys don’t know dog anatomy, theirs dog shelters and facility who have kids working who care more for animals then this establishment
