My boyfriend and I were looking around the store as customers do. I felt a worker was following me and my bf the entire time we were shopping. Unless you had a reason to follow me around don’t scare customers away. I will not be coming here again. I have been coming to this location since 2017 when I moved in Columbia heights. I have never felt uncomfortable with my shopping experience ever till this worker decided we were “stealing” don’t bother coming here as they will profile you.

I’ve had a great experience at Petco. The store is always clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I get my dog Milo groomed by Sierra, and she does an amazing job every time. He comes back looking fresh, neat, and well taken care of. You can tell she really cares about the pets she works with. Definitely a place I trust for my dog’s care.

I have taken my dog ​​here three times for a haircut, and the staff who assisted me were always friendly and did a great job with my dog. So, I recommended this grooming salon to my aunt who wanted a cut for her puppy; unfortunately she had a very bad experience. To begin with, the haircut itself was a disaster. Her puppy is a very good and friendly puppy very much like my own dog. But the person who cut his hair said that he kept biting his nails and hands, so she couldn't cut his hair and I could guarantee that my dog ​​is harder to groom than this puppy. The groomer’s name is Jasmine. She had nails that were approximately two inches long. How does someone who works cutting animals' hair work with nails like that? And she didn't even apologize; rather, her attitude was quite rude.

I’ve previously had good grooming experiences here with my Cocker Spaniel puppy, which is why today’s visit was so disappointing. Before the appointment, I clearly explained a few specific requests. Unfortunately, those requests were not followed. I asked for the base of the ears to be trimmed while keeping the ears themselves natural and fluffy. Instead, the ears were cut very short and now look triangular, which completely changed my puppy’s appearance. The tail also looks rushed and uneven, as if it was quickly trimmed with clippers without proper shaping. Overall, my fluffy puppy came home looking almost shaved. I didn’t say anything at the store because I was honestly shocked, but when I got home I was very upset about the result. It’s especially frustrating because I was also charged a higher price based on my dog being listed as 30 pounds, even though he is about 26 pounds. I’ve had good results here before, so I hope this feedback helps improve communication and attention to grooming requests in the future.

This is the results of an unfinished job done by Petco. I’ve had my baby since he was weeks old.. so when the tall lady came and bothered me while I was waiting for him to be finished.. It was a situation the previous day that happened that was already resolved by the manager Sam. I guess the “Groomer leader” wasn’t satisfied then proceeded to say I’m accusing them of hurting my dog and I can’t sit and watch them.. That I’m making them uncomfortable when she literally pulled out a chair for me.. it already took them 4 hours the previous day and I couldn’t wait for another hour like the women said so this was me coming back the next day like we agreed and this was the results. Being Im a trucker I already explained to them this was the only time I could get his hair cut. I’ve never been treated so rudely by Petco being Ive been a customer for years sucks to say I’ll just have to cut my own baby’s hair from now so he’s not treated poorly. As you can see there’s spots that are WAY to close to his skin he has spots on him that I’m actually touching his skin. Even with the shortest length I’ve never seen his hair so short that they took away his natural coat pattern. He’s way to sweet t
