Very disappointed in the service I received. I really only wanted the gland expressions but went for a bundle deal. Once I came to pick up my pup they said they weren’t able to do the gland expression but I still had to pay the bundle price. They gave me a 5% discount to make up for it. When I got home I realized they hadn’t cleaned the under the tail of my pup and she had dried poop stuck under her tail and was scooting the whole ride home. The worst part of it all was I took my pup in for her vet appointment later that day and found they had left a big piece of cotton in her ear. I called them the next morning and they didn’t even apologize or offer a refund. The covering manager that Saturday morning ( who was also who I had dropped my pup off to that Friday morning) just said she would make a note and talk to the technician about it. I would not recommend going here.

Very thankful for the great experience at this Petco. Everyone was so friendly, especially the lady grooming my doggo. She helped me find what I was looking for after the grooming session, which had turned our great. Store was very clean and was easy to find parking in both the afternoon and early evening.

Booked several weeks in advance for grooming. When I arrive they say they need a vet’s note from my vet because my dog is a senior and it’s a risk for them. I call my vet and they say they’ve never had a groomer request a note before. After lots of unclear communication they say the concern is the blowdrying kennel they use after the bath. They aren’t able to give my vet an estimate of how long she’ll be in there and my vet says they don’t have enough info to clear that. I say we can skip that drying step and then they say actually just the risk is grooming in general, even though she’s regularly professionally groomed and also bathed at home. She was groomed at another Petco last month. For a senior, she’s actually extremely mobile although she has some arthritis. It just became a power struggle with the employees. They should give advance notice if they need a note or they don’t plan to groom your dog. Terrible service and problem solving. Petco also contributes to animal mills and I don’t plan to shop here anymore. My vet said it’s a red flag indicating they’ve probably caused some injury to other pets in the past and are trying to cover themselves.

So I just got a new kitten went for some supplies. They had a great variety of kitten food and steff was very helpful in that department. But when I went to look for a kitten collar the hooks were empty they might have had 5 to chose from and not to many toys either. But over all it was a big store with lots of stuff. So I'll give it a 3 out of 5 just because they didn't have want I wanted but that doesn't mean that they won't have what you need.

Recently visited for the supplies, but not happy to see that they still sell animals. There are so many animals that need to be adopted that this seems wrong. The conditions they're kept in are just sad - for example a betta fish in a tiny amount of water and dead fish in the tanks. However, I was happy to hear that they work with rescues for cat and dog adoptions.
