This place takes so long they never have the food that I need available. I asked if they have anything in the back and they take 10 minutes to even understand what type of food they’re even looking for. don’t waste your time here go somewhere else bunch of children understaffed they don’t know what they’re doing here clearly. I hate that this company you know has to work with animals. That’s really sad but as far as people wise, this place is awful.

I’ve been coming to this store for years and it’s always a good experience. This most recent trip I was having some issues with a coupon on my phone and the manager with blond curly hair I can’t remember her name, was so patient and helped me at the register when I couldn’t figure it out. It’s very nice to see a store of such nice, young and knowledgeable people. Thanks Pet Supplies Plus Waukegan.

Really bad customer service. They have a bell to ring for a cashier. So I did that. No one responded so I looked at the employee who was simply stocking shelves (a task that can reasonably be put on pause) And she looked right back at me with her ear buds in and just ignored me and went back to stocking. A girl did eventually came out to ring me up but it’s like every time I go to this store something is absolute crap. Whether it’s the employees not knowing anything about the animals they carry, to not knowing how to bag a fish, poor feeder animal quality, or bad customer service, something it always messed up. I only go here for rabbit food and maybe hay. Anything else I make the trip out of town to get good quality feeders and pets.

I always order my cat supplies here and they’re very good about making sure any replacements are in line with my needs, including calling me to confirm. I also really really appreciate the cute notes they leave in my delivery orders! They must have an artist or two on their team and I get super excited whenever I open the bag. I went to Pet Supplies Plus after seeing fish tanks advertised on sale, but none were on the sales floor. I asked an associate (Daniel) for help, and he told me if I didn’t see any out, then they didn’t have them. When I asked if there might be some in the back, he said they weren’t allowed to check. I then spoke with another associate (Victor), who was polite and tried to help, but also would not check the back. I went to my car and checked the website only to find the exact item available at that same store. I placed an order online and was able to pick it up within an hour. Very disappointing experience. The item was clearly in stock, but no one was willing to verify or assist. Customer service definitely needs improvement!
