While they can't do much about their congested location. This place is Dog Friendly and can get your basic supplies but could have a wider variety of options. Good if you need something essential.

Being fairly new to the area, I decided to try out a local pet store but after my experience I will not be returning. When I entered the store I said hello to the girl who was standing at the register and she barely looked up at me and kind of scoffed then immediately went back to texting away on her phone. All of the other employees that I came across were pleasant and eager to assist. There was a very nice young man there who helped me get a bag of dog food off the top shelf and he did it with such a positive attitude. The experience started looking up, until i went to check out and had to deal with the girl at the register again, whose name tag read Yeli. She had the worst attitude and you could tell that she had better things to do than to ring me out. When the order was completed, yeli instantly turned her back to me and went back to texting on her phone. I asked if anyone would be able to assist me in lifting the bag of dog food into my car, which was completely ignored. At this point I knew I wouldn’t be returning to this store and was going to leave it at that but I was so bothered by the whole experience that I decided to reach out to the store. Carries some worthwhile products, carries others that are known for killing animals. Actually knowledgeable and competent employees are hard to come by, forget about asking a question about any of the animals they have in their care. They look at you like you have five heads if you ask for a water test, a service they say they offer. They overstock their tanks to the point it’s disgusting to look at. Leave dead fish in the tanks all the time, guarantee if you go look in the tanks theres about a million fish with ich that no one bothers to treat. Just another pet store that only cares about the bottom line and not the welfare of animals, even the ones in their care.

I spent the day there with the Berks Community Cats live adoption fair and got to meet Pet Supply Plus new employee. TABBIE... she is a great addition to the fine staff at PSP. I found her very attentive and eager to help and learn. A great catch for Pest Supply Plus. I think she will do well.

I’ve been taking my 14 year old chihuahua here for grooming for a few years. She recently passed and I adopted a 2 year old terrier mix who I will continue to take here for grooming because they always do a great job for a reasonable price. They also have a wide variety of toys, food, and treats. I can pretty much get everything I need for my dog at one place, which is really convenient.
