I had the best experience at this store! Cecil found out my dog had allergies, and worked so hard to help me find a good food for her. I really appreciate how great he was, and I highly recommend this store!

Sooooo I'm a first time kitten Mom and needed lots of help to nurse 2 kittens who have no Mom back to health......Connor and my fairy cat mother Niki hooked a sista up.....great service and care....we're so thankful for you ❤️

Pet Supplies Plus – Homewood, Alabama 421 Green Springs Highway Homewood, AL 35209 On May 20, 2026, around 6:53 p.m., we went to Pet Supplies Plus in Homewood to buy an all-animal wound and skin product for one of our dogs who had a place on her little ear. Madison welcomed me to the store and asked if I needed help. She was very nice, professional, and helpful. When I told her what I was looking for, she directed me right to it. Kayla, the manager, also helped me with questions I had about the product. She was very knowledgeable about the products they carry, and she was a really nice, professional manager. Her help gave me confidence in what we were buying. There was also a young man there whose name I did not get, but he smiled and made me feel comfortable. Sometimes in a pet store or any kind of store, I can feel unsure about exactly what we need to buy, but Madison and Kayla gave me great confidence. Wonderful service. Thank you very, very much. Very disappointed with how our family was treated during a recent visit. We brought our daughter’s current hamster with us in a small carrier while shopping for another hamster and supplies. Instead of asking questions about our setup, care, or experience with hamsters, the employee immediately made assumptions and denied the adoption. Our hamster is extremely tame, healthy, well-loved, and clearly handled regularly. She goes everywhere with us and we have spent over $300 on her setup and supplies to provide her with the best. We completely support responsible pet adoption practices, but the situation could have been handled with much more professionalism, kindness, and communication — especially in front of a young child. The interaction felt unnecessarily judgmental and dismissive rather than educational or helpful. We left feeling embarrassed and confused more than anything. Pictures are of our girl Marshmellow. She is literally the most spoiled and well loved hamster in the world.
