Fairbanks is in Alaska, where long summer days and dark cold winters set the rhythm of business; many seasonal operations run only from May to September, so call ahead outside the summer. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fairbanks follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The state's best no-kill cat shelter! Meredith is committed to finding the best home for all cats in her care, especially those with special needs. My Jonesy came from Pet Pride, and now that I've lost her after 15 years of loving companionship, I will reach out to Meredith again to adopt, after I've grieved Jonesy's loss.

I have now adopted 3 cats from Pet Pride and have been so amazed by the level of care and love they put into their kitties. The adoption fees are relatively low, all thinga considered, and the pets are all fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped when they're adopted out. I always recommend coming here and describing your needs in a new friend, they've been able to perfectly match me with just the cat I needed each time I was in. They also steered me away from choices that would not have fit with my current situation. Cannot stress enough how caring and kind these people are! Plus, it's no kill, unlike the borough shelter.

Meredith was the sweetest ever!! She answered pretty late when my mom had to remove her cats from her home. She met up with us to take them even though it was so incredibly late. she was the most kind person ever you can tell she really cares about these animals. I wish I could give her an even higher rating! I couldn’t thank her enough for going above and beyond for us and the cats!

I adopted this handsome fella, Mr. K., from Pet Pride in November 2023 and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I called and made an appointment with Meridith who welcomed me in and introduced me to a lot of kitties needing homes and told me what she knew of their back stories. Mr. K. and I bonded immediately. I needed to prepare the house for receiving a kitty. A couple days later I was ready to bring him home and Meridith had all the paperwork ready. I gladly donated to this cause for the adoption - Pet Pride provides a critical service for animals in our community. He had all his shots already, was fixed, and microchipped. A few days later I had a few questions to clarify my kitty's history so I called Meredith and she patiently explained it all again. I will definitely choose Pet Pride again to donate to and when we next want to add a feline friend to our family.

After losing my best friend of almost 20 years I was so lost, so heartbroken. Emily with Pet Pride called me and said she had the perfect boy for me. You can never replace what you lost, but Quinn and I are celebrating 2 years, and he’s everything I had longed for. Thank you for bringing Quinn into my life, and making sure he was healthy and strong
