Pawtropolis East Athens

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but after hearing about what happened to the sweet English Bulldog puppy, Bruce, in Santa Barbara, I felt compelled to share how incredibly grateful I am for the team at Pawtropolis. Leaving your pets in someone else’s care is never easy, but I never question whether my girls, Poppy and Arya, are safe, loved, and well cared for when they’re at Pawtropolis. The entire staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely knows my dogs as individuals. Poppy, my little rescue, has always been more challenging to board. She’s a tripawd with a long history of chronic enteritis, so I naturally worry a little more about her. Every single time I check the cameras, though, I see someone carrying Poppy around in their arms, cuddling her, or making sure she’s comfortable. They take the time to listen carefully as I review her medications and special needs, and they always keep me updated on how she’s doing. Pawtropolis is also the first boarding facility where she doesn’t tremble walking through the front door, and that alone says everything. Knowing she feels safe there gives me an incredible amount of peace of mind. Arya absolutely loves daycare and overn

Pawtropolis East Athens has been so amazing! We love it! They were AMAZING at handling our 6 month old pup with such grace. Everyone we talked to from start to finish made our sign up process and her first day so easy and peaceful for a nervous momma. We loved reading her feedback from the evaluation. The folder she was sent home with was wonderful for a literature loving parent like me! We will absolutely be back! Signing her up again now! She played hard (but not too hard thanks to the staff) and is now sleeping off her Pawtropolis Hangover hahaha.

I am very disappointed with the level of supervision at this daycare. This is not a one-time incident. My dog has repeatedly been mounted by other dogs while at daycare, and I have expressed my concerns about this behavior to staff in the past, even adding it to my dogs notes when booking her for daycare. Despite bringing it to their attention, the problem continues. Today, while watching the cameras, I observed my dog being repeatedly mounted by multiple dogs throughout the day. This was not a brief incident and instead has happened over and over again. At times, staff did not appear to notice what was happening, and at other times, they observed the behavior and did not intervene. What frustrated me most was that I tried calling the facility multiple times to alert someone to what was happening, and no one answered the phone. As a customer, I should not have to watch my dog be continuously bothered on camera while being unable to reach anyone for assistance. I understand that dog behavior can be unpredictable, but part of managing a daycare environment is recognizing when a dog needs to be redirected or separated for a break. Repeated mounting should not be allowed to continue

Amazing place! I drive past here all the time on my way home and was always curious about it. My Pyrenees pup needed a bath and had officially outgrown our bathtub at home, so I decided to try the self-service wash station. It was a great decision! The wash area is very spacious and clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They provide everything you could possibly need, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. I will definitely be back for baths and would love to try some of their other services in the future!

Simply the best! 👌 Since 2014, Pawtropolis has been a regular conversation. Staff to cleanliness, safety concerns, informative information, pricing and availability. Does not get any better than Pawtropolis. Thank you, personally! "Soli Deo Gloria¡" Matthew DeGenaro.🙏
