In Dallas, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Texas, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Dallas is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Even her previous employer said that she puts shock collars on dogs and is ver careless, our dog was only 6 pounds and died after picking her up from this establishment. Do not use this place! Go somewhere else that actually cares about your pets

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment. I brought my dog here for a grooming appointment, and within hours I had to take her to the emergency room where she later passed. Prior to the appointment, she had been in good health with no known issues. The sudden change in her condition shortly after the groom was very shocking. Documentation of the ER visit was shared with Tammy. During that conversation, additional details about the appointment were mentioned that had not been shared when we initially asked what had occurred. We also requested video footage from the grooming session in an effort to better understand what may have happened. But were told only still images were available, and despite requesting them, they have not been provided. Since this incident, we have spoken with former employees, experienced groomers, and others in the industry who raised serious concerns about practices at this facility, including the use of force, prolonged kennel times, and overcrowding due to overbooking amongst other concerning practices. What has been most difficult in this situation is the lack of transparency, communication, and compassion following such a serious incid

Tammy did such a great job on my Goldendoodle, Charlie! I did lots of research and Paw Tenders had the best reviews and definitely did not dissapoint either. It was his first haircut so she walked me through the process and let me know how long he’d be there. He was even able to play with the other dogs which was a plus. Very prompt on answering emails/calls too!

Our dog has been going to Paw Tenders twice weekly for almost 2 years. She loves going and knows the text sound when they notify us they are 5 minutes away from picking her up. We also board her when we go on vacation and she is very well taken care of. She has never been given or worn a shock collar. Tammy and Russell treat her with so much love and kindness, Keely loves staying with them. We also get photos and texts from Tammy letting us know how Keely is doing when we are out of town. Keely gets groomed every two weeks since she’s a pug. After her daily dog care days, she comes home exhausted from playing with her friends. So far, we have not had an issues with Temder Paws.

Paw Tenders was incredible! They gave my pup the best haircut she’s ever had. The groomer (I think his name is Danny) was so friendly and did a wonderful job. Tammy was also so friendly and made me and my pup feel right at home. They were extremely accommodating and gave me a tour of the facilities. All the dogs were very happy and being well cared for (no shock collars anywhere, so don’t believe that other comment). I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Paw Tenders!
