About Paws Palace

Paws Palace is one of the pet groomers listed in Santa Clara, California. The business is registered at 2373 Pruneridge Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95050; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Santa Clara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Clara follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Omg, these people are the worst groomers I've ever used. Sent my 11 lb Chihuahua mix in for a full groom, she was their for 5 hours and I couldn't tell she had a single hair cut, ridiculous, they offered to let me bring her in again for a redo, no txs, not going near this place again, highly do not recommend, I'm amazed their still in business?? Look at how many bad reviews these people hv, there's a reason for that, I didn't read the reviews before, I should hv. Do not risk your dog's health or risk throwing away your $$. Stay away.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS – NEGLIGENT AND CRUEL 🚨 I would give this place zero stars if I could. I had an 11:00 AM appointment for a full-service groom for my puppy. Their website states the service takes 1 to 1.5 hours. When I dropped her off, they claimed it would take 3 hours because they were fully booked, but said they might finish earlier. I even specifically asked if they could transfer my puppy from her small travel bag into one of their larger holding cages so she’d have room to stretch during the wait. They agreed. When nobody called me with an update, I came back at 2:00 PM (three hours later). Not only had they NOT EVEN STARTED grooming my dog, but what I found was heartbreaking and infuriating. Instead of putting my puppy in the spacious cage, they stuffed her travel bag inside the cage with her still zipped up inside it. She was trapped in her travel bag for three straight hours. Because she was zipped up in the middle of a chaotic room with tons of other dogs getting groomed around her, she was completely terrified. When I walked in, she was barking non-stop and visibly stressed out out of her mind—and the staff didn't care at all. They completely ignored her dis

I'm extremely dissatisfied with my recent visit to this place. As a pet owner, it's distressing to see my 5-month-old golden retriever unwell after their grooming service. I had specifically requested only a bath and brush, which they confirmed. However, after keeping my dog for three hours, they returned him to me, and he seemed fine initially. But later that night, he developed stomach upset, and it's been over two weeks since then, with no signs of recovery after their service.

Had a very bad experience. This is the second time I took my dog here but the experience totally opposite of the first time. There was a waiting time even though we had an appointment and all dogs were kept in kennels and crying. I have a sensitive dog and when I asked to take my dog back to bring him back when his turn arrived (which was after an hour wait) the receptionist literally said no and that it was against company policy to bring the dog out. After a long conversation of asking him to bring the dog out to make sure he was fine, he agreed to bring him out and treated him very badly. I could only meet him for a few seconds before he was taken back inside to forcefully be in the kennel for an hour. The haircut was literally the opposite of what we asked. When I got the dog back after 2.5hrs, he was shivering and didn't eat or say anything and slept for 14 hours before he woke up and drank water. I am very unhappy.

The groomers at Paws Palace are wonderful! They're so kind, and you can tell they really care about your pets. My 14 year old dog came home looking like a puppy and had a spring in his step after they gave him the works. He was so happy, and it made me so happy to see him look and feel good. Their online appointment system is easy and straightforward. I appreciated their clear communication, from confirming and adjusting the appointment through text, and calling me as soon as they were done. I'll be bringing my dog back here for sure!
