I visited here recently. I live an hour away, but I would gladly drive to come support and visit all the adorable animals! Hopefully the new owners of the mall will consider keeping them. Malls have been come more than a place for shopping, they are also a place to build community.

A great way to connect adoptable pets with members of the community who might not otherwise visit the SPCA's adoption center on Bay Ridge Ave. This is the kind of unique tenant the mall needs; let's hope Macerich works hard to keep Paws AT the Annapolis Mall!

I love Paws at the Mall, the place where you can meet the SPCA of Anne Arundel County’s small animals. You will find adoptable cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, and occasionally birds or chinchillas. There is also a retail section where you will find some pet supplies and clothing for pet lovers! The SPCA staff at Paws are friendly, knowledgable , compassionate, hardworking advocates for the animals in their care. You may see volunteers when you visit as well. I volunteer at Paws weekly and have also adopted Guinea pigs from Paws. Please know that they ask you to refrain from touching the animals for the animals’ safety and yours as well. If you touch a few cats, you may spread a virus from one cat to another. If you put your finger in a rat cage, they will think you are giving them a treat and bite your finger. The signs are all over the store for a reason.

The staff/volunteers are knowledgeable & helpful. There are so many wonderful animals(pets) at Paws at the Mall who really need a loving home. There are hamsters, birds, rabbits, kittens & more. There is also a variety of pet accessories & apparel available for purchase. We're blessed to have found & bonded with our newest additions. Overall my family had a great experience adopting our pets. Our guinea pigs have settled in wonderfully. See pics of our sweet guinea pigs.

Adopt while you shop. Stop in this great spot at the Annapolis Mall to meet some furry friends available for adoption from the SPCA of Anne Arundle County. Plenty of cats, dogs, birds, hamsters to see. Even if you aren’t adopting - stop in to show some love or purchase some clothing or supplies to help the SPCA
