If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. To start off, most of the products were expired, very dusty, and an entire shelf had items that expired over a year ago. Everyone was all over the place, and the customer service was really bad. As customers, we had to bring all of the expired items to the front because we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them there and risking someone buying them and their animal getting sick. One employee looked at us and said, “Oh no, no, no, I’m sorry. It’s been a while since we checked the shelves.” They had items that expired on 05/02/2025! Despite there being so many expired products, I still had items I wanted to purchase from this store. However, when we decided to leave because no one was helping us and everything was taking too long, an older lady with white hair asked if we were leaving while picking up a basket. She assumed we were buying all of the expired products because we had brought them to the front. She then said she was “finally” going to look through the expired items, almost as if she thought we were lying. When we told her no, she slammed the basket down and sarcastically said, “Thank you for letting us know.” I’m writing this

Excellent service. I love taking my dog here. They have great prices and always make great recommendations for dog care. I’m very happy with how caring they are towards animals.

I love to support local small businesses. This place is a cute little local Mom & Pop pet store that you can actually order online from. They have a pretty decent loyalty program, so if you go, be sure to sign up. Super friendly and helpful employees. You can tell that they really love animals by the high quality of the products they carry and their breadth of knowledge about different things your pet may need. This is a refreshing change from what you get at big box pet stores, where some employees kinda know about pets and you better read reviews cuz their products are hit and miss. The only downside (and the reason they get 4 stars instead of 5) is that they don't have the largest product selection. Idk if it's b/c they chose quality over quantity for product offering, that they only want to sell products they would actually buy for their own pets or just the result of them being kinda small. Either way, I was very happy with the dog training treats they recommended. Just know that you will likely spend more than if you go to your neighborhood PetChain Store, but you'll definitely get what you pay for (eg: better quality). Edited to correct grammar.

Very nice place to patron. They are always polite welcoming. We love to use the self service dog bath. The room is clean and comfortable and had everything you need to clean and dry your pups. We really enjoy this place and they know your pets by name and have a great selection of treats and toys. This is the reason I support small businesses. Personalized professional caring service. Thank you Paws and claws depot.
