They are small but awesome. They have only 1 doctor, so sometimes they leave you in a room waiting a long time. Dr. Henderson is very knowledgeable about pet healthcare. All the staff are very friendly and they really care about your pet. Twice when I had a semi-emergency they found a way to squeeze me into the schedule.

We became a patient at this practice back when Dr. Knittel was still the vet, and we adored him. Ever since he retired in May of 2025, this place has been a disappointment. I'm writing this review after the THIRD time of waiting over an hour to be seen at Paradise by Dr. Henderson. Our appointment was at 4:10, we arrived at 4:00 since it's hard to judge how long it will take to get our cat into the carrier. We signed in, and waited 40 minutes in the waiting room since all three rooms were filled. No explanation was offered, no apology, just silence. It took until 4:51 to get into a room, at which time it then took 10 minutes at 5:01 for a tech to come in and ask what was wrong. I explained our cat had an accident in the carrier and she was understanding, saying that she'd help get him cleaned up so he wasn't laying in his own filth. We waited 20 more minutes without seeing the tech or Dr. Henderson again before I finally decided to leave. At this point, our cat has not been touched. He hadn't been weighed, he wasn't looked at for anything (we came in for hair loss due to allergies that he is being medicated for currently). If this happens once, it's a bad day. Twice? I'm suspicio

Dr. Henderson and staff are incrediably sweet and thoughtful. they made us feel like family instead of customers or a business deal. The care they have/did/do for our pups is such a blessing.

I have been using Paradise for six years for my pets’ veterinary care, and when the previous doctor was there, I never ran into these issues. He was always extremely transparent with pricing and services, so this recent experience was especially disappointing. What should have been a simple routine check-up and vaccine appointment ended up taking 2 hours and 40 minutes, which is far too long, especially with a baby at home. I came in already expecting my dog likely had an ear infection and would need medication for that. However, I was given two additional medications without being asked, discussed with, or given the option to decline. My husband and I are on a strict budget after having a baby, so being charged $730 unexpectedly was extremely stressful. At no point was I informed of the cost beforehand or told what the total would be. I was also sent home with a cup to collect a stool sample because the staff could not collect one themselves, and then I was charged $37 for that sample kit. I do not have the flexibility to drop off a sample at random times due to childcare, so this added another layer of stress. I value good veterinary care, but communication and transparency are

My pupper loved being groomed at Paradise Animal Hospital. They did one of the best cuts Carver has gotten in his life. They are very well priced for the quality of work performed as well 💕
