Pampered Pets Bed & Biscuit

I experienced exceptionally poor and inconsiderate customer service during a recent pickup at this facility. When I arrived, I gave my dog's name to the attendant, who relayed it to the receptionist. Despite having met both me and my dog before, the receptionist pretended not to know who my dog was. I walked over to clarify his name and specific breed features, assuming she was looking up my account to ring me up. Instead, after making me wait, she called over another owner and dog who were chatting with the second attendant. That dog came right up beside me and jumped on me twice without any correction or intervention from the staff. Frustrated by the total lack of urgency, I had to approach the other attendant directly just to pay my bill so I could leave. To cap off the experience, when the employee finally brought my dog out, she simply dropped his leash on the floor instead of handing it to me. There was zero professional courtesy or consideration shown to me or my dog. It was made abundantly clear that they do not value my business, and I will certainly not be back.

Our dogs were returned to us in a questionable condition. Their personalities have been completely depressed and are not their usual go-happy, go-lucky dogs. When we were choosing our boarding options, we were given incorrect information regarding dog updates and were told we would receive pictures with the package we selected, but we were not given any daily updates until day 3 and were told at checkout by the woman who told us that pictures were included that they were in fact not included. We also find it somewhat ridiculous that it costs an extra $20 per day for our dogs to be let outside to relieve themselves and play for about 20 minutes. We have been to other boarders in the area, and our dogs have never had this kind of negative reaction when coming home. It has made us very concerned about if our dogs received any attention, especially when they were returned to us with the our dogs wearing the wrong collars (older dog wearing younger and smaller dog's prong collar and vice versa). It has been several days since we picked them up, but they are still not themselves at all.

Our miniature schnauzer, Murphy, absolutely loves doggie daycare! She always comes home fully zonked, and we love seeing the big board in the lobby showing who her best friend for the day was :)

PP is an excellent, trustworthy place to care for your pet. We’ve boarded our dogs with them for 10+ years, and they’ve been great. Even when our dogs transitioned to “elder care” with special needs, we can always rely on PP. Winston really enjoyed his time there. They are great to work with, a great group of people.

We have 3 Golden Retriever girls, and they have an absolute blast every time they go to daycare or stay over while we are away. Our dogs have been going to Pampered Pets for more than 5 years now for daycare, birthday parties, lodging and one very happy Cancer Free party. The staff is all around amazing, very friendly and helpful, and our dogs love them enough to drag us in through the doors! They have a wide range of rooms instead of runs for lodging, which allows us to board our spoiled dogs with peace of mind that they would be comfortable. Special callout for Amber, who loves our dogs as much as they love her! Easily the best place for our dogs in Fort Wayne, would highly recommend!
