Pampered Paws Pet Grooming

I have used Pampered Paws in the past and have generally been satisfied with their services, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I brought in my elderly small-breed dog for grooming. While I understand that senior dogs can be more challenging to work with, I would expect a professional groomer to either work within those limitations or contact the owner if they are unable to safely complete the service. Instead, the grooming was completed poorly, and the condition my dog returned home in is far more concerning. Since her appointment, my dog has been sleeping significantly more than normal, appears to be experiencing pain in areas where she has never shown discomfort before, and flinches or yelps when we attempt to pick her up. Nearly five days later, these issues are still present. As a pet owner, it is extremely upsetting to see such a dramatic change in her behavior and comfort level following a grooming appointment. Beyond my concerns about her physical condition, the grooming itself was far below the standard I would expect. If the staff felt they could not safely or properly groom an elderly dog, I would have completely understood being told so in advance.

We came here on a referal throigh a coworker who is related to the Joslin family. We could not be happier with the services we recieved today for our 8 month old Shihpoo named Canolli. Communication throughout the process was exceptional. I was extremely nervous being a new Dog Mom still and having had a prior poor experience ar another groomer in Toledo. This was 100% everything I had hoped it would be. The staff was so personanable, kind and understanding. I felt the price point was on pare with the area market and reasonable. Thank you Pampered Paws staff.! We are OBSESSED with his make over! I can't stop staring at how beautiful he looks. Best part he is still floofy and I can see his beautiful eyes now! Thank you so very much! We will be back!

I dropped off my old German shepherd for a groom and they did a great job! I'm happy they had him back to me under 2 hour! Thank you so much!

Had my shi-chi groomed here today and they did an absolutely wonderful job with him. The staff was so caring and kind, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my fur baby. Timmy will definitely be back!

I can’t explain enough how much I appreciate this place. My Mom began taking our dog Pasha here as a puppy 17 years ago and they always did a wonderful job and were always so professional and kind and he looked adorable after his appointments. This really meant a lot to my Mom, who treated her dogs as well as her children and always wanted nothing but the best for them. About 7 years ago, my Mom untimely and unexpectedly passed at 51 and I took over the care of Pasha for her. Even though I lived almost 3 hours away in the Cincinnati area, I would still take Pasha here as he felt comfortable and happy here and I didn’t want to change things up on a senior dog. I moved back to Sylvania about a year and a half ago and continued to bring Pasha here and they continued to do an amazing job with him, even as it got harder due to his arthritis and becoming vision impaired. I had my last appointment with him right before Christmas and they gave him the most adorable bandana and made him look years younger than his actual age. After a decline after the holidays, I made the incredibly difficult decision to put him down and yesterday I brought him here to say goodbye before his final appointme
