Palm Beach Dog Academy

We rescued our German Shepherd, Penny, from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control over Memorial Day weekend. Enrolling her in Jeff’s board and train program was one of the best decisions we made. Penny is a sweet dog, but she needed help with impulse control and leash manners. Jeff completely transformed her. She now confidently responds to sit, stay, come, heel, and place, and walking her is a completely different experience. Our 12-year-old son can now walk her with confidence and ease- even past other dogs who are barking. She is now much calmer around our smaller 11 year old Teddy Bear mix dog. Jeff sent us daily pics and videos as Penny made progress. She was always so happy so that helped reassure us we that she was in great hands. While Penny wasn’t aggressive or fearful, I know those are some of Jeff’s specialties. If you’ve rescued a dog, I can’t recommend his program enough. Giving a rescue dog the structure, confidence, and training they need sets them up for success in their new home. Even if your dog simply pulls on the leash or needs better manners, this program is worth every penny. We also found his price reasonable for lifelong skills and peace of mind. Jeff wi

We can’t say enough great things about Jeff! We brought our miniature Australian puppy to him not knowing quite what to expect, and he has completely exceeded our expectations. Jeff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He’s been incredibly accommodating around our schedule and always makes us feel supported every step of the way. Our pup has come so far thanks to his guidance, and we’ve learned so much as owners too. If you’re looking for a dog trainer who truly cares, look no further than Jeff. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jeff Nelson is exceptional. He teaches your dog a small number of useful , clear and simple commands, then teaches you how to use them. Our dog, Remy, has made amazing progress in a very short time. It is not a one and done experience, but rather, he follows up with personal visits. Remy is gaining self-confidence and we are gaining a well-behaved dog who is a joy to be around. My wife and I recommend Jeff without any reservations.

Palm beach dog academy was recommended to us when my husband and I found ourselves with an adorable but very stubborn Yorkshire terrier puppy named Delilah, that very much had a mind of her own. Upon meeting Jeff we hired him immediately and we were very happy we did. He delivers a high level of care and professionalism. His training is thoughtful, intuitive, and highly effective-both in training the dog and in training its pet parents, but what sets him apart is the environment he and his family have created. Delilah was welcomed into a home filled with warmth, attention, and genuine affection. For me the level of comfort and trust is invaluable and finding someone you can confidently rely on, both as a trainer and a caregiver is rare. Jeff and his family exceed our expectations. I highly recommend Palm Beach Dog Academy.

Jeff was a pleasure to work with, he was very personable and really cared about our dog Beau. We did the 3week program and it really paid off! Our dog Beau is agressive in certain situations and Jeff really worked hard to fix his issues and also worked with me to continue the everyday training. Couldnt recommend the 3 week program enough, so much less stress in our house now with a trained dog that actually listens to us!
